Dagupan should start developing this area since I've noticed that cottages in the area are full of beach goers. We went there expecting something picturesque but was disappointed to see nothing but cottages for rent.

I was there in 2011 - no option to change the date, sorry. But.. I tell you- no matter where you go in the Philippines there's always great people to treat you nice, this beach particularly is not my forte because I like white sand beach., but this water is calm and when we got there it wasn't overly crowded. Rentals and food is cheap, I think anywhere you go. Just don't have local ice tea or water. You need bottled or soda for safety. Try local food but just don't dip it in their sauce :) too risky. good luck and thanks for Reading!

Whenever we visit a new place, I try to bring my kids to their park or museum first. While my husband was in his conference, I brought the kids to Tondaligan Park. It was such a big waste of time! The place is so run-down, overgrown with weeds. There is no sign or marker that this was indeed Tondaligan Park. No wonder nobody else was there. The local government should improve the maintenance of this park if it intends to attract tourists.

Museums are always of interest to me, and the Dagupan Museum is one of the better ones in the Pangasinan area. I find it a bit tight though, it seems that all the display and artifacts are squeezed in a room at the ground floor. There is also a display of Edades artworks. Other items include paintings, antique household items, clothes contributed by Dagupan residents. Just the same, worth the visit. Hopefully the City Government can give them more funds to better improve the display area.

I could say that this place is really refreshing for new travelers but for the locals it is only just a normal place. It is also a livelihood for those on its banks. They ferry you across the river for a small fee. The river also has mangrove plants on its banks and there are a rich source of fishes although I am not sure if they allow fishing. The breeze from the river is really refreshing and surely one would love to relax. Anyways I could see that the river is clean and really good for having a swim.

CSI is a Mall complex on the edge of Dagupan City, there are a reasonable number of shops and a limited number of restaurants, but is good to spend an hour or two out of the sun.
As you leave Dagupan driving towards Alaminos, you pass by the mall, so it is an ideal spot to stock up in provisions for your day at 100 Islands.

Not much to say other than this is a beautiful scenic drive. It is special to here the damn sirens go off and then see the water come rushing out. We drove through here the morning after a typhoon when the roads were barely passable. Awesome experience cruising through the mud, around twisting corners, and seeing such an epic place.
