This temple is outstanding. It's situated approximately one and half to two hours from Udaipur. Fortunately we were passing enroute between Chanoud and Udaipur so was well worth a visit. This temple comprises of 1444 hand carved marble columns. Numerous other detailed carving can be viewed on walls and ceilings. There is an entry fee and access for none Jain people is after 1200 hours. Amazing place to wander round for a couple of hours.

Golden temple at Falna, Rajasthan is located at just a minutes distance from the Railway station. The Mulnayak God is Shri Shankeshwar Parshwanath ji. The temple is around 13 years old may be since 2004. It is built well and also has accommodation (dharmashala) on the three sides of the temple so that once your out of the room the first thing you see is the temple. During summer one can call and reserve the rooms as there are a lot of travellers, visitors on pilgrimage drying the summer holidays. Good healthy food is provided 3 times a day and it is Pure Jain food. The temple by its view is so fascinating that you'd keep admiring, specially in the evening when the decorative lights are on and the temple seems illuminated. Just outside are so many shops where you can find all Rajasthani varities to shop, be it provision, clothing, veggies or sweets. The chai wala gives good tea from as early as 3 am to 1 in the mid night. The temple is silent though with much crowd and one can pray well at the temple.
