Kotu Beach loverly sands, no busters, beach now cleared of beach boys without permits. Plenty of sunbeds. Be careful of the undercurrent in the sea. That's dangerous.
Nice clean restaurant on beach. Kunta Kinta. Good service, loverly music very friendly people.
Kunta Kinta also Hotel.
Next to that is Palm Beach Hotel.
Next to it is Reynolds Bar.
Nice relaxing atmosphere, pool table, music in the evening. Wednesday night is Barbecue and camp fire good atmosphere. Very friendly people family owned. Ask for Baboucarr Jammeh to do some dancing for you.

We had a great trip with Simon from Simon Tours. We contacted him by e-mail and he answered within an hour to make an appointment. Very nice man and very knowledgeable about what to see and visit. He knows the locals and beside the general points of interest he chooses his own destinations by visiting compounds in the countryside that are not overrun by other tourists. We travelled by open jeep. Gives you a lot to see, hear and smell. We went with a party of four and paid € 45,- per person. Not really cheap for Gambia but a much better price then e.g. Booked by Tui. (€ 58 p.p.)
We had a lovely day, drinks and lunch were included and he has an answer to all our questions. If you want to go on a tour, Simon is our man. Thank you once more Simon.
Regards, Henk and Lucie, The Netherlands.

Mo's Taxi service, representing the smiling coast of Africa: Gambia! With my comfortable Mercedes I will bring you anywhere, anytime. You can call me for the short distance, or even to discover Gambia. During the drive I would like to tell you more about my country. You can find me around the Kotu Beach Hotel road & area, just ask for Mo. Or send me a text message / give me a call. See you!
We heard about Mo through another hotel guest. On our last day we went with Mo to the Serrekunda market. He is a really kind person and works hard to provide for his whole family. A really modest guy who also takes care for his car a lot. If you want, Mo can bring you somewhere and pick you up, but he can also take you on tours. His guidance at the Serrekunda market was very helpfull. We felt safe and Mo also helped to make honest prices for us ;)

Lovely bar and staff but drinks twice the price of the kombo beach hotel in which it is located all also if they see you drinking in the hotel bar they change their wifi code so you can't access theirs even though we spent over c £1000 in their bar in 2 weeks. Well over priced for the country

Myself and girlfriend went on a day trip round the Weston division of Gambia including Paradise beach and the fishing village. The boat ride through the mangroves and seeing all the wild oysters growing on the roots was very relaxing. Kemo was a great guide and a lovely man. You won’t find a better more flexible genuine bloke to show you round any part of The Gambia look forward to seeing him when we go back for BBQ goat

I make the Gambian holiday more comfortable for the tourists. I come to the airport pick them and drive them direct to the hotel. They can contact me on phone or true e-mail before they arrive or visit my office in Kotu Kraft market and planing their own trip together with me. It can be on the countryside or in town The costumers wish will make the trip.
Would highly recommend - booked three tours through them. One down to Guinea Bissou, other to wildlife range / safari in Senegal and other was local school visit and tour of area.
Wasn't disappointed, and they really look after you. From passports and visa arrangements to supplies, food and drink. They aren't pushy and are well known.
