Spent the weekend in the area & can only recommend it. This beach offers beach-baskets to rent for the day, sandy white Beaches that stretch for miles, cycle paths, parks with benches, fantastic facilities (public toilets are free to use) as wellas a beautiful pier to walk along with an Italian restaurant at the very end to enjoy food or a drink. You can watch the world go by, cycle, walk, bring the dogs, swim & more! We'll be back!

For some reason, Germans think Heringsdorf is posh. It's not. It's tacky, overcrowded and loud. A bit like Southend. The long drive up from the Mainland is justified by nothing at all.
