We came here on the recommendation of our hotel owner and were not disappointed! This is a small restaurant serving a daily changing menu so everything is fresh. I had crab ravioli which was exquisite and cod served on fennel which was just fantastic. Madame serving was great fun, and our lack of French and her lack of English made it quite interesting trying to translate the chalk board menu! The portions are very generous and after 3 courses, copious wine and coffee we felt fit to burst! A fantastic restaurant serving seasonal French food, do not miss out!

Good location, one street back from main front. Very busy in August, we had to book to get in. Disconcerting that as you are speaking with the man to book so he is also answering phone calls via Bluetooth earpiece! Indifferent service, not bad, just not attentive. Good menu range from pasta, to pizza, salads and usual steaks etc. Pizzas looked amazing, very thin crusts, but we chose risottos, ravioli and linguine. Daughter very ill after eating which may have been due to not checking risotto was gluten and shell fish free! However, clear labelling would have helped here. Husband enjoyed ravioli. My linguini gambas was a bit dry and few prawns. Feel we will try another restaurant for next meal out. Also, they do two sittings so if you eat early be prepared to be finished by 8.30-8.45 so they can get ready for the next sitting.

A real bib gourmande, so the diner was not really expensive and very good. We had three courses including desert and my wife a good glass of wine.
Very good for lunch. Surprisingly nice prepared. Perhaps as important, it was in a patio which was very pleasant in the heat, 35 degrees Celsius

Fantastic food served here and very friendly staff and some speak good English. Excellent tasty pizza and very good Rose wine and very reasonably prices. Big pizza oven inside the restaurant that you can watch the staff cook. This is an extremely popular restaurant that opens at 7.15pm sharp and don't be surprised to see people queuing before it opens. All tables full by 8pm. Closed Mondays. Plenty of parking in Sanary.

Single in Sanary! This greedy restaurant-lounge proposes you every day and at any time, fresh fruit juice pressed, a complete breakfast (6,60€), a French-style brunch (25 € for pers 2.), a restoration of quality with dishes home-made, a tearoom with more than 30 teas and 12 coffees, cups of ice cream, cakes and desserts home-made, wine, beer .... Cosy establishment, original decoration, comfortable atmosphere. The Terrace is ideally situated close to the port and the esplanade, on a small place shaded next to a wall Fountain. Gringo'thé proposes greedy formulas from 12 to 20 €, and also mixed salads, hot dishes home made, flat vegetarians, crunch Mister and snacking. The staff guaranteed you a delicate service. At any time, come to treat! Also discover a wide selection of delicatessen. Possibility sideboard(buffet), special event management or dining apéritif until 15 pers. on reservation. Open 7/7, also on Sundays from 11:30 am. In July and August opened in the evening and all year long on reservation (from pers 2.).
In a quiet corner, the Grigno is an excellent place for a coffee/snack/breakfast/lunch. All the food is prepared to order and what we chose, was excellent. We had a lunch, the brunch and numerous coffees through our 2 weeks in Sanary. The owner and her daughter are very helpful and happy to stop and chat - even with my limited French! They also sell some locally sourced products.

This is a brilliant restaurant serving great food with modern twists.
Off the seafront tourist trail close to La Poste
Limited menu with about 5 starters and main courses and small wine list
Keenly priced. Excellent food served inventively by charming staff.
We had an aubergine confit with roasted vegetables and foie gras served with a deligthful chutney and apple carpaccio to start followed by duo de cabillaud and ' mix grill' (sic) comprising caramelised pieces of chicken and beef in a gorgeous jus. Good sized helpings. Local wine in 50cl pichet is good value at €12.
Highly recommended.
Suggestion : book an exterior table in front of restaurant. We hadn't booked and were seated up the side alleyway quite close to the table beside us

We waited about about 90mins for the starter which was a salad and about another hour and a bit for the main course. When the main course finally arrived, We were told that the main course was not prepared as it was meant it to be because it would take too long if it did.. Oh yes the main course was a burger too. Being a local person to the area and after living there for a few years, this restaurant is an embarrassment. We didn't receive an apology for dinner that started at 8 and finished at almost 11, for two dishes. Will I come back or recommend this place, no way.

We arrived shortly before they closed for lunch on Sunday but we were graciously seated and a small chalkboard with the specials of the day was presented. My wife and I didn't deliberate long but chose the first, the fish, and the last of four offerings, mushrooms and almonds. In addition we tried a glass of the local rose. Our meal and wine were both fabulous. My fillet of a local fish like sea bream was combined with a longitudinally sliced beef bone exposing the marrow with thinly sliced zucchini. My wife's selection, again, thinly sliced mushrooms and fresh almonds was light but filling. Finishing with 2 espressos and a single portion of tiramisu with two spoons was the best. Would definitely recommend. Concluding, we met the chef, Daniel, a precise English speaker but most importantly an excellent chef.
