From the very first email received from Angela to confirm our booking, after answering all of my dumb questions about what trousers to wear, how to get there etc, it was terrific service. This was a family day out to break up the sunbathing and it was simply the most fun we've had together in years. We had arranged a transfer from our apartment 40 minutes away which arrived on time in a great minibus. On arrival we had our briefing and filled in our paperwork before taking three quads carrying 6 of us (loads of room) up into the hills for nearly 3.5hours. We stopped for drinks after an hour then again another hour later to swim in an amazing lake in the hills for 30 minutes before continuing our journey. Our guide was superb and we were able to sample a part of Portugal we didn't know at all. The trails we were on, at times, were pretty steep but this added to the fun. Just a note on what to wear ...it is seriously dusty so don't go with your best gear on. You will be given a hair net and face mask; wear both!! You will thank me later! That just made the day even more involving so do yourself a HUGE favour and book this up. Great people with a great business using first rate equipment. Smiles all round at our end and we will definitely use again.

Communication was excellent, Jo Anne answered all my queries promptly and accurately which made booking very easy and hassle free. The tour itself was very refreshing with lovely views and a great tour guide. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us some very interesting facts about Portugal and was able to answer all my questions as well as being super friendly. I would highly recommend this tour!

Its beautiful and peaceful old and still being used by the locals who are very friendly and welcoming. You can sit outside under the olive trees and take in the quiet surroundings.

One of the nicest Beaches in the Algarve. Easily accessible and safe bathing. Small beach but so very pretty. We love it. There is also a restaurant on the beach so you can get food and drinks. It is a little on the expensive side though, as are all beach restaurants.

The drive from Alferce via Silves towards Alte is very nice. It already gives a nice view and viewpoints over the lake and dam. The place itself is a small road which you can find when you follow the signs. It leads you to the beginning of the dam where there is a sign with some explanations and view over the lake. Nothing special, just a quiet place where you can take a break during your road trip.
