Tiger falls nahi dekha to kya dekha.. Amazing falls. a bit tiring cos you have to walk down the hill (stairs are there) and climbing it up is hell. but its worth it. try visit before sunset cos u might encounter wild animals then.

Nestled in a beautiful valley, Tiger falls is a place you might want to visit if you are around. The caveat is that the pool in which the falls fall is rather small. A group more than ten people can overcrowd the place.
The falls are a long drive away and the gates welcoming you on the way build your expectations to unrealistic heights. The falls are a long way down and I believe it is walk for the fit, not for the food lovers like me. In the end of the long walk, the falls though beautiful are a little underwhelming.
But compared to commercialization of Kempty falls, I would pick the Tiger falls any day.

We went as a group of friends in two Maxx Mahindra's . the road is very badly broken & suggest strongly to hire the local Maxx Mahindra's to go there . We like the localities, climbed up on roof of the vehicle holding tight to the luggage rack , while driving up to Deoban ( Dev Van ..Forest of the gods ) . The ride sitting on top of the jeep was very thrilling & adventures ( children should not sit on top as risky ).
Also suggest to go early & return back much before sunset, as sunset from here is not that good , also the road being in Shambles its better to return early.
After reaching the end of the road there is quite a trek ( 15mins) up the mountain thru Deodar trees to reach the point called Vyas Shikar 9400 ft ( as per our taxi driver this was the summit where sage Vyas wrote the Mahabharata ) . From here you can see the far away snow clad Himalayan range .
This is a forest reserve & has an army mountain training camp , Hence permission & toll tax has to be paid at aloo mandi check point.

After a very long trek we reach a grassland where these caves are.formed. Stalactites and stalagmites are formed due to water trickling in the caves and limestone rock dissolving in water. The cave has a very narrow entrance for around 150 metre and after that one can stand up.We have to crawl or sit for around 150 m, and it is very dark inside and there is a deep hole at the end of the cave where water seeps in. It is better that only 6 to 7 people the cave at a time..
