The main structure is a short walk from the entrance of Doeksan Provincial Park. There are many places to explore in this temple complex (if there are no English maps/guides on the stand, ask in the office next to the ticket booth). This temple is one of the many Korean temples that offers the Templestay program.

This folk village was very good for walking and view about Korean folk village. This folk village's feature was a native people living there. The house in village had different subject from door to door. The village was larger than I think. There was many experience thing and traditional product. Good place to children and old man. The people aged 65 and over and a preschooler was free.

Kim jeong-hui was Master calligrapher of Joseon Dynasty, and Chusa was Kim jeong-hui's pen name. This traditional house show Joseon's yangban(noble) life. The parking area was wide and good, and the tomb and memorial hall was located beside house. This attraction was in good hands, I think. Good place to know about Joseon's house.

This memerial hall was located beside Chusa house. This memorial hall was very excellent and well display about Chusa(Kim Jeong-hui, master calligrapher). We appreciated the thing about Chusa, and learned. I've visited many memorial hall in another place, but this hall was the best, I think. Good memoral hall.. Recommand.

Absolutely spectacular views from multiple peaks throughout the park. The park has an abundance of diverse flora and butterflies seemed to be everywhere. The forest museum and zipline in the park were truly unique and well worth the visit as well. Park at the bottom for a 6 mile hike, park at the top for a 3 mile hike.

It's set in a lovely landscape. And it's an OK stop on a trip through Yesan, but the local temples have more to offer. If you are interested in this hero from Japanese Colonial times, by all means, stop. There's a nice shelter to sit and have a snack.

This beautiful museum shows the traditional life and culture of rural Koreans. I was especially drawn to the small tables showing the varieties of foods in the country. The museum has lovely grounds that we were unable to visit - we were there in the winter!

A tiny temple not farfrom Yesan... Nothing much to watch but it is a good place to escape from any crowded city.
