Stay for a while there and read the signs where you can go from this place - it is really good to train your sense of orientation. There is also a model that shows the beginning of the city so you can learn about history. At the time I was in Uherske Hradiste there was a festival of bier. Fans of this drink were accompanied with a musician so although I prefer wine I joined them to sing few songs.

AquaPark Uherske Hradiste is a great place to spend a couple of hours or even all day with the family and friends. We were there one Sunday morning, spending 3 hours. Whole sport park is very modern and clean, equipped with plenty of facilities. For three people, we paid something above 800 Czech koruna which was pretty good. After that we received digital wrist band with the fob which allowed us to access to all pool areas and spa. We could also purchase any drink by it and pay when we were leaving. There was a good website to get more information. The only down point was that there was only join locker room for everybody and no separation for family and adults. Despite that we will return again.

I love Islands for thein specific characters and probably for the same reason I love regions on the border. Slovacke museum is a great example of an island sui genesis and the edge location too. Situated in the park forms an island of culture in the sea of green. Before entering the permanent exposition rich in ethnographic material visitors have a chance to learn about subregions of Moravian Slovakia, oh, there are so many microborders! A short representative slideshow illustrates each subregion including typical songs. The ethnographic exposition was open in 2014 allows to study and understand the country life in the past. You can test what you have learned there as the traditional artefacts are supported by electronic media. Good luck, have fun.

I have only really been inside a church like this in Cuba. It was beautiful throughout. Steeped in history and Christian art.
Unfortunately, no information was available in English and the people responsible for the Church were quite old and non-English speaking.
I would highly recommend a visit to the this Church if you appreciate art from a ling way back - paintings, sculptures, parchments all dating from 1800's or earlier.
Some renovation work was being carried out to the front of the building when I was here and I hope it will be completed soon.

Joza Uprka is a famous local painter who was a good friend of world famous artists as August Rodine and Alfons Mucha (Art-Nouveau). His paintings are wonderful and if you like impressionist style you will not be disappointed. The gallery is housed in a recently renovated former Jesuits college. Just to walk through this Baroque building is a nice experience itself. There is also an Information Office by the entrance, so this could be a very useful place to stop during your visit to Uherske Hradiste.

Maximálně oceňuji úroveň občerstvení a výši vstupného, kdy má doprovod dětí vstup zdarma. My jsme zde strávili příjemné tři hodiny a určitě jsme se ani chvíli nenudili.

The Gallery of the Museum of Moravian Slovakia is beautiful in many ways. First of all you will admire its location near the city fortification - no wonder it used to be a military Artury and later on a post office. Then you will fall in love with the building itself, Baroque curves are so seductive! And there are permanent and temporary Exhibitions inside presenting art of southeast Moravia. We have found a perfect balance as we could enjoy works of both local and foreign authors. Artists Mr Vaculka and Ms Vaculkova used to live in Uherske Hradiste and were inspired by cubism, Drawings and photographs of Alexandr Hackenschmied aka Sasha Hammid were exhibited in public for the very first time. So enter the gallery and enjoy all the collected beauties.

I strongly believe that this science is full of interesting stories, more than that these are not dead ones. So come to this institute and meet Mr Jilik who is ready to tell you about the beginning of scientific research focused on findings of Great Moravia – step into the 19th century. The exhibited artefacts come from archeological sites nearby connected with the personality of the archbishop Methodius – you enter the 9th century. I was lucky to meet not only Mr Jilik, great storyteller, writer and publisher, but also Mr Cap, who is the author of many replicas of jewellery. Ladies now and in the past time would love to wear the beautiful earings made by him using the old technologies. Beauty is always able to cross the time easily and inspire people.
In this museum, everybody can learn about local etnographical architecture, ways of living, means of support, clothing, aplied arts, folklore habits and traditions. We can travel back in time through culture actions connected with the agricultural year, such as traditional carnival called Fašank, Easter, construction of a may pole, pasture opening, harvest time, funfair, Christmas time etc.
