Its the world highest tea estate. Where you can enjoy the amazing scenic beauty of tea Gardens all around. even the weather was good, clear sky with cool wind so it was enjoyable. To go there you need to take jeep better you hire it from suryanalli. 1800₹ is the cost of jeep ride.
Caution
There is no road so you can image the pain you will go through to reach there. I don't suggest this ride for people having back problem, old age ,pregnant lady.
Its one hr ride for going up & other 1 hr to come down.
There is orthodox tea factory there where you can see tea processing & buy tea. Entry fee is 100₹

The journey to Mannavanur Lake itself is very nice...beautiful route. Less toursit, serene surrounding, loads of greenery is what Mannavanur Lake is all about. One has to come to Kodai for good restaurants since there is nothing on the way except for one small joint - might be difficult for vegetarians.

Have you ever been to a hill station and wondered "why is this place so populated and polluted?" Forget them, plan your next trip to Meghamalai. Visiting hours 6am-530pm. For those people who are not planning to stay there at night, do return before 530pm, else the forest officers wouldn't allow. You can have a complete variety of wildlife. Elephants, deer, tiger are very common. Manalar dam is situated in the village. Accommodations are available. Food facilities are reasonable. Suruli falls, cumbum, kumily are nearby places to be visited.

Ramakkalmedu is a hill station located about 15 Km from Nedumkandom. The main tourism importance of this place is the presence of excellent wind from TamilNadu. Rolling green hills and the fresh mountain air make Ramakalmedu an enchanting retreat. The hills top also offers a panoramic view of picturesque villages of Bodi and Cumbum on the Eastern slop of the western ghats.
Ramakkalmedu is an Amazing destination for a dayout. Breath taking view of Tamilnadu.. plenty of windmills... Wonderful statue of Kuruvan & Kidathi(epic characters).. An awesome weekend destination!!!

It is a smallest national park in Kerala, India. It is situated around 35 kms away from famous hill-station Munnar towards the road to Koviloor and Vattavada, Kearala. The name´"Pampadum Shola" means, "the forest where the snake dances", derived from three Tamil (one of the Dravidian languages) words, "paamp", which means "snake"; "aattam", means "dance"; and "cholai", means "forest". "Shola" may be considered as a mis-speller of "cholai". The park protects a moderate amount of montane evergreen shola forest that is associated with the wildlife rich Eravikulam National Park. also you can see animals in morning time, Book stay in advance.

Enjoy a scenic hike and admire Poombarai Village View, a tiny colorful village nestled amidst terraced fields famous for its production of garlic. Standing secluded at 1,920 m in Palani Hills, this village offers a picturesque view of the area with locally colored houses and greenery. Tranquil and mesmerizing, it makes a part of a nature’s trip from Kodaikanal. Visit a local temple dedicated to Lord Murugan and enjoy fresh local produce, beans and carrots. Do not forget to get some garlic. To visit Poombarai Village View and get the most from your holiday in Kodaikanal.

The Meghamala Wildlife Sanctuary should be extended so that the rich flora and fauna of the area can be protected. The wildlife in the area includes elephants, tigers, leopards, gaurs, mangoose, variety of deers, birds and reptiles but the large scale plantations and encroachments are causing threat to the preservation of the wildlife and forest. With proper roads, restriction in entry timings and security arrangements the area can be one of the best wildlife sanctuary's in India. I have been to Megamalai thrice and must say that the place is blessed by the nature and the Mountains, forest, wildlife, climate etc will attract any person visiting the place.

We visited Kodaikanal on 28/09/2017. One can see this beautiful and magnificent waterfall while entering into Kodaikanal. It is a beauty of nature. Since this was festive season, it was crowded. This is just on road side. One can spend half an hour and enjoy this beautiful waterfall. Worth seeing and not to be missed.
