This is a lovely and fairly easy walk with trains regularly roaring past at the beginning and end.
There're many refreshment stops at the start in Teignmouth, then a small canteen (open only at weekends in the winter) at the foot of Smuggler's Lane about a mile into the walk, another (summer only, at Coryton Cove. In a detour, about halfway into the walk, there is the Smuggler's Inn on the main Teignmouth/Dawlish Road. At the end, near the railway station at Dawlish, there's a good range of pubs and cafes. It' s good walk for those with a dog although they need to be kept under tight control over some sections and off some of the Beaches during the summer period.

We really enjoyed the ferry crossing the short journey was made extremely enjoyable by the skipper and his helper it’s a pity the harbour master was shouting such foul language at two fishermen that the whole harbour could hear children and all apparently he makes a habit of this regularly sounds like you need a new harbour master .

Recently went to see Starshine.....AMAZING.... a bright entertaining show (a complete contrast to the cold wintry weather outside!). Ben was hilarious, the magician was clever and the dancers and singers kept us entertained all night. As a group we make a special trip to see the Babbacombe show each year and this show did not disappoint....we laughed from the beginning to the end and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. If you get the chance to see this show you will not be disappointed. Well done to all the performers and choreographers.

We come to Dawlish Warren regularly, it’s great for a stroll along the beach, with amazing views over to Exmouth. The beach is always so clean, gorgeous golden sand. A few nice clothes/ gift shops. Ice cream/ drinks/food. The arcade is fun for all ages with the 2p slot machines. It’s just an overall pleasant place to be

There is plenty to do in Shaldon, so this is easily missed, it's not a long walk from the ferry, there are a few small inclines and a Smugglers tunnel to access the beach, there are 55 steps down which means 55 steps back up afterwards! The beach is very nice and unspoilt. A hidden gem.

Absolutely 1st rate!
We didn't know about these tours until we arrived in Devon. Kate handled our booking request in the most wonderful manner right from the start.
The tour itself was superb - Andy is a great raconteur, sharing stories about the area, history as well as an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine. The vineyards visited , the wine tasting was most enjoyable.

Babbacombe Model Village is Torquay's most popular and visited attraction. Representing British life and culture over the last five decades all in miniature. Animated scenes, along with touches of very English humour bring it all to life. Taking you on a fun, informative and nostalgic trip through the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s to present day, it has appeal for all ages. Famous for its lovely setting in 4 acres of award-winning Gardens that are a delight to experience all year round. NOTE: Opening times signify the admission times - opening to latest entry.
We went to the Model Village for the 4th time and it gets better each time we go. Entrance fee is just shy of £10 but I feel this is good value as it takes a good 2 hours to take in all the displays. There is a new central feature under construction will I think will depict London and the early stages of this look brilliant so if you go later on this year I would imagine all will be revealed. Well done to all the gardeners the surrounds are spot on.

The small zoo making a big difference! Set in an acre of woodland garden above the attractive coastal village of Shaldon, we look after, and help preserve, some of the rarest and most endangered animals in the world.
Today we visited the park for something to do on a rainy day. It was reasonably priced and had a variety of animals to look at and watch. We even got to feed the meerkats. After an accident of myself slipping over and hurting myself, the staff were very helpful with first aid and helping me back to my feet. Luckily no broken bones! Thanks for the help guys

A family friendly museum where you can discover the amazing history of the area. See the fascinating objects that tell stories reflecting national as well as local events.
Throughly enjoyed my visit to this small museum, which is housed in a modern, iconic building in Teignmouth town centre. The displays, spread over 3 floors, are interesting, very informative and deal with a diverse mix of history and heritage. The staff (volunteers) are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend a visit.
