You want to experience your first tandem skydive jump close to Montreal and Parachutisme Adrénaline wants to share this experience with you. We will allow you to discover the glorious landscape from the Laurentians to Saint-Jérôme. Designed for two people, an instructor and a passenger, the tandem skydive system is made in a way that lets you have a taste of parachuting while allowing your tandemmaster take care of the details. Your skydive adventure begins with an airplane ascent of about 15 minutes where you can admire the view and then... you take to the air. After a freefall of at 200 km/h, your tandem skydive instructor activates the parachute and directs you gently to the landing area.
Love this place! Great staff and easy to get to from Montreal! I highly recommend! Nice place to visit with your family: kids have a blast looking at the skydivers (and you will too)Thank you for your comment Caro . The owners also have young children and we do our best to make the experience as positive as possible for our customers and their young fans.

Less then an hour from Montreal, our Park is a family destination 364 days a year. It's a nice place for a hike with the kids or to enjoy a little time in nature just by yourself.
It is a powerful river in Spring when its currents are very strong..The places I have nestled along it are just North of the Portes du Nord (on route 15) where there is a Visitor Parking .right after St-Sauveur, coming into St-Jerome. There are trails there and Vestiges of an Old Mill..beautiful, especially in Fall.
Then, there is Lachute, Qc whose Downtown Center it crosses.,. Here it is slower, lazier, in S;lalom fashion but very scenic.I decided to go live in Lachute to be near it..lol. Maybe I'll pontoon up it. I guess it's the Tom Sawyer in me...lol..if yiou don't have a car, you can hop on the train or Bus to St Jerome..it's quiite frequent and cheap ($5).

I played this course with a group of friends on Saturday September 21-2013. We were a little unlucky as it rained all day, sometimes very heavily. The course, however, held up very well. There was plenty of drainage on the fairways and the greens were very playable. The course itself is very well thought out with holes that will make you think about your club selection right at the tee box. At this time of year there was also the beginning of a color show as the leafs on the maples were beginning to change shades. After the round we went to the 19th hole for a couple of beer and the owner came over and was nice enough to give us all a $10 voucher to be applied to any game next year. This was an unexpected and welcome surprise as many of us had completed all 18 holes. I will definatly come back to this course in the future.

Coming from the US to bike the 200km Petit Train Du Nord we chose to rent bikes and be transported to the northern beginning of the trail. The rental process by phone was easy, the staff spoke English, and calls were promptly answered. The bikes are in great condition, 24 speed and worry free. We called a few days before our start to re-confirm the Reservations. We were given a tire repair kit and a small hand pump. The bikes performed well, no slipping of gears. We were told bikes are changed every 2 yrs and we would not hesitate to use them again. So whether you just need transportation of your own bike and luggage or their bikes expect good service and value.

What a disappointment. First impressions, we were freezing, and the Seating arrangement is very uncomfortable. Also, their was no aroma of food which was odd, and you don't see anyone looking busy in the kitchen, which explains a lot actually. Because the meal is about 20-25 bucks/person for cheaper than 'depanneur-grade' food. They advertise smoked maple hams and sausages with omelets on their website, but what they actually serve is hot dogs, cheap cold-cut ham, and an omelet that tasted like a rice cake instead because they put fillers in it to cut on costs even more. Gross! That's not very nice. I don't even know if their was any egg in that omelet at all. We couldn't eat anything, nothing tasted normal. Nothing would go down. The pea soup and beans tasted like they came from a can, not authentic, nor fresh. And if you think that the fresh cup of coffee might save the day, HA! Think again! I hope you like instant! Gagging. They count their pennies here, and you're getting nothing for a fine price, which is pretty scandalous to me. Food was cold, cheap, and tasteless, I could have eaten better at Belle Province for cheaper. Their paper-thin palm sized pancakes served on flimsy plastic dishes tasted like it came from those preprepared boxes. No glasses for water. Everything is in your coffee cup. After the nightmare, we went to get our maple taffy, and lo and behold, even that wasn't possible, the maple syrup was even undercooked and thus, unable to obtain the taffy consistency, and therefore resulting in NO F*K'N TAFFY.
ROBBERS.

Beautiful place to get outside with friends and family. They offer a multitude of winter activities,XC skiing, snowshoeing & fatbiking. The forest is very well maintained. Trails are very well indicated. Bring your lunch with you out on the trail or have it in the chalets.

In an environment marrying architectural heritage and contemporary art, the Musée d’art contemporain des Laurentides invites you to enjoy a memorable experience as you view works of art that are sure to surprise and delight. The museum is the largest institution of its kind north of Montréal and its works attract attention from well beyond the Laurentians. Discover a diversity of Exhibitions and activities in a convivial, dynamic and welcoming milieu. A window open on both art and life, the museum strives to create a living environment, accessible to all.
The Exhibitions at this museum are very well displayed. There is a very interesting Canadian Contemporary, conceptual art, and local Laurentian artists are shown too.
At times the artwork is not the most accessible art to understand or relate to. However, the museum employees and the volunteers who welcome you to the exhibit halls might be quite helpful in making contemporary art part of your regular list of things to do.
I have just seen there an exhibition by Eric Ladouceur which was quite intriguing, interesting and inspiring. After two short visits, the museum gave us yet another opportunity to meet the artist himself and attend an explanatory visit with him and his curator.
If you live in the Laurentians it would be a good idea to register as a member, the museum needs our support. Every exhibit opening has a talk by the artist or the curator, especially for members, along with a glass of wine too. For the visitors to our area it would be a pleasant way to view art without the large crowds of city museum visits or the high price charged for the visit elsewhere.
