This place is great! Great decoration, great drinks, great food! The only thing is is that they get packed quite quickly so if you don't have a reservation, make sure to get there early

Established in 2010, the Rail Coal Fire Bistro’s humble beginnings were founded on a passion for great food and an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. Its fundamental belief in the importance of providing value to its customers through the use of fresh and imaginative ingredients quickly allowed the Rail to grow into an unmissable dining destination. Friends and family alike continue to gather in what has become the South Shore’s most inviting dining room to discover the joys of reimagined casual dining. The Rail takes a fresh approach to breakfast, lunch, and dinner in its 130-guest dining room, 24 hours a day. The continued support from our local community and loyal customers has allowed our dream of sharing our passion for food to become reality. We've truly enjoyed building these memories with you over the last few years and cannot wait for those that the future still holds.
This has got to be the best family restaurant around. 1st: it's open 24 hrs day/ 365 days year. Great food, great atmosphere, great workers. The breakfast menu is fantastic. Lunch and supper menu just as great. The Kahnawake pizza is delicious. Big screen tv always showing sports, boxing or UFC. Will be back.

I found this restaurant while was riding my motorcycle along a small river in Chateauguay. Was time to have lunch and stopped to see what is in there. I was greeted by the owner and on my question "What you have nice for launch" was offered to try their smoked salmon. The sample was just amazing and I ordered the salad with veggies. You can see what I was served on the picture and believe me that the taste was better than the look!
One of the secrets of a good taste is that the owner smokes the salmon himself in his back yard smoker.
If you are in Chateauguay go there and try it yourself.

Your hosts, the Hussain family, welcome you in a warm and invite you to enjoy the finest dishes of Indian cuisine on Restaurant Lal Kella Tandoori of Châteauguay. The chief reported from London, where he perfected his art for many years, inspired cuisine from all regions of India. Gourmets gather in each dish, from mild to more pungent, the same attention to detail and research of the most exquisite flavors.
The hostess and the waiter were kind, courteous and helpfull with suggesting dishes. They are very attentive to their clients needs, The place has a nice ambiance, nice Indian music, tastefully decorated and clean.
The food was fantastic. We had the Bhaji onions, vegetable samosa, Tikka chicken, Channa Massala, Saag Paneer, butter chicken, Chicken Jalfreizi (nice spicyness) and Lamb Vindaloo, rice and Naan bread. The food was fresh, tasty and presented in nice silver traditional dishes on a dish warmer lite with candles.
The only reason I didn't give this place a 5* is because the samosa had a freezer taste to it and lacked a bit of spice to it and the Naan bread tasted really sweet for some reason (maybe the next time I'll try the garlic Naan bread). Everything else was excellent and I will go back and totally recommend it. Another great thing is that it's bring your own wine.

Good food, excellent service and very accommodating atmosphere. Prices are a little high but still you do get a very satisfying portion. Children under 10 or 12 are free on certain days - good draw for families. All in all, would recommend it. BYOB
