We teach rock climbing offering a variety of courses, provide private guides, rent equipment, and arrange Deep Water Solo trips. We offer climbing for beginners, intermediate and the advanced climber. Our guides are professional, passionate about climbing, and great teachers. They have many years of experience climbing and teaching, and will ensure you have a safe and fun climb.
We were climbing two half days with this company. The instructors (Pak and Sam/Cent) were really good and we had also lots of fun with them. Amazing service to get you satisfied with your climbing.
We were about 8 in the group with two instructors, it resulted in approximately 5 climbs each. The rocks in Railay are amazing, a lot of climbs for all levels. The instructor divided us into two different groups depending on our experience. I would definitely recommend to climb with this company.

Freebird Stand Up Paddleboard Co. has it all! Hourly SUP rentals, beginner lessons, private and group tours, and the extraordinary Sunset Starlight night excursion. Join us for your best day, or night, on Railay!
My wife booked this as she knows I love paddle boarding and I loved every minute of it. The guys were super friendly and chilled and gave us a 30minite practise on the boards before heading out to the tour. As the night closed in, we turned on the bio-luminescent lights underneath the boards and floated around with the ocean lit up in blue so we could see the fish and coral. A highlight was at one point we based ourself by one of the rock masses, turned off the lights and watched the luminescent plancton, it was absolutely amazing! A really great experience that has given us both an adventure memory for years to come!

My Wife and I decided to stop for a quick beer and ended up staying all day. "10" & "Monkey Man" (The tenders) were awesome and had us laughing all day. If I ever go back, i'd love to meet back up with them. Top blokes and top bar.

Access to the viewpoint is from the footpath to Phra Ngang beach and starts with a very strenuous clamber up the cliffs. Once at the top things level off into a hike through the forest to the viewpoint. Great view to be had and great fun altogether.

Quality beach in beautiful surroundings but very well known by tourists! Getting there early is a must so get your ticket as soon as the stall at Ao Nang beach opens (08:00). Enjoy the surroundings in relative peace before the hoards flood in around late morning.

I longed trying rock climbing for years, and finally got an opportunity to do so.
I spend 10 days in Railay to do this, and tried different schools and instructors.
I finally converged to Spider Rock climbing school because I found their instructors to be well experienced, serious, attentive to the student, yet still fun and laid back in the good thai way (opposite to boring indoor instructors back home).
I had a great time from my first day of beginner (lots of muscle pain the day after, for which a thai massage is the perfect antidote), then progressively built up the strenght and confidence to take onto the 2-day course, where they teach you how to lead climb and rapel down.
It was the best experience I could have wished for, so I highly recommend this school to everyone and my special thanks to Lam and Nut for making this the most enjoyable experience which I will remember forever.

Climbed here twice while I was at Railay Beach, the first time at night after watching the sunset at the viewpoint, then again the next day.
The water is murky, it’s not as nice as i imagined.
I enjoyed the barefoot climbing, while it was pitch black and muddy more.
The lagoon is fun for about 15 minutes

Did Poda island on a Thalassa trip which was 4 islands/snorkeling tour. Poda was our first stop, we went to the side of the island which was not as busy and the beach there is beautiful white sand and just spectacular Emerald waters.

Luckily trip advisor told us about this place otherwise we would have never had found it. It is on the outskirts of Railay and well worth the short walk. Seating areas suspended out on trees above the sea, bamboo decking and Thai cushions. A lovely place to chill out for a couple of hours under the shade of the trees. I think a small chang was 80B.
My only recommendation is for the owner to play some more chilled music instead of old chart music as it is a relaxing place.
