Indonesia is not only bali..
try to go to Pacitan, East Java, you will found an amazing beach, Klayar beach..
white sand and coral reef like sphinx is the attractions that you can enjoy at this beach,
not difficult to found this beach, just follow the dirrection to goa gong (gong cave) and you will found another dirrection to the beach, the minus is about narrow path to the beach, and be careful because the wave is very tight

Watu Karung Beach

Reviewed By Betawi_Boy - Jakarta, Indonesia

Watu Karung is another "must see" destination when in East Java. Some claim its fame to that of Raja Ampat of East Java.
Prepare to take about a 10 minute hike up to the hill where you can experience a breathtaking view of 360 degrees. Climbing up can be a bit of a challenge and its advised to wear tennis shoes rather that sandals/slippers.

Gong Cave

Reviewed By Javier M - Adeje, Spain

Good cave that goes quite surprisingly deep. It's veryhot, humid and somewhat wet, as most caves are, so watch your step when going down the stairs. Sadly there were no bats. If you have never seen stalactites then you'll be amazed here. Not to forget, you will have to pay to enter the cave although the price, if I recall correctly, was 5000 or 10,000, which is dirt cheap regardless.
Outside of the cave there are many stalls selling all sorts of jewlery, chances are not genuine, clothes and food. Also a lot of children and women selling (or renting, I have no idea to be honest) little flashlights for the cave although honestly you can go through it and see decently well enough without one as the interior has lights although some may be not functioning.

Srau Beach

Reviewed By Aurora Ribka M - Indonesia

To reach the location, you have to ride by the mountain and the canyon. More further from the main street. The road are pretty smooth, but there are also few points should be wary, be very careful of the landslide. When we arrived, at the entrance we have to paid IDR 5,000 per person and IDR 5,000 for the vehicle. Swimming are prohibited because of the high waves. But on the certain time, we can enjoy to swim. We should aware the time of ebb and flow. The landscape are pretty. Meadow and palm trees grows by the sea. We can find few facilities such as food stalls to enjoy the local culinary. Bring your mattress to just enjoy the breeze or having family picnic.

Banyu Tibo Beach

Reviewed By theo1006 - Mijas, Spain

Pantai Banyu Tibo or Waterfall Beach is quite an interesting side-trip from Klayar Beach. At Kalak village, which lies on the route from Punung to Klayar beach at 5 km from Klayar beach, take the road to Widoro village (3 km). From Widoro a "rabat" road of 1.3 km leads to Pantai Banyu Tibo. A "rabat" road is surfaced with two concrete strips, one for the left hand wheels and one for the right hand wheels of a car - good for motorbikes, but cars from opposite directons can't pass each other.
When we visited the beach, it had been accessable for over a year, and already it is quite popular among domestic tourists. On holidays you may find the small area quite crowded, so better come on a working day.
Pantai Banyu Tibo takes its name from a small river falling into a little sandy cove. The foot of the fall can be reached by a ladder, but only at low tide. At high tide the surf pushes well into the cove. We came at falling tide and had to wait until the warden, Pak Surahman, declared it was safe to go down. That was about 2 pm.
There was no official entrance fee; Pak Surahman collects a voluntary contribution and so does the parking warden.
A few modest foodstalls are available for drinks and some snacks.

Teleng Ria Beach

Went there on new year's eve and they cost 20.000 Rupiah for each person. Really? This is too expensive considering the place is quite dirty. I believe this beach WAS beautiful before too many people chose this place to visit, and unfortunately many of the locals couldn't keep the place clean... the sand was getting dark too.

Soge Beach

Reviewed By Deisy H

Soge beach is the first beach we visit in Pacitan. None of our friends had visited this beach, so we were guessing the best route is through Trenggalek. After a very long and boring drive from Sidoarjo, 7 hours of winding road and nothing but the forest on both sides, it all payed off when the pristine beach greeted us. Because we arrived from the east side of the road, we saw the left side of the beach first, which is the delta and the river side. We continue driving towards the west for a couple of hundreds meter, and saw the longer side of the beach. But because it was close to new year holiday, we saw a huge amusement park were placed there. Immediately we turned back to the delta side, as we hate crowded Beaches.
Glad we make that decision, because it is the most beautiful Beaches I've ever seen. We parked the car and stop for a quick break enjoying the coconut drinks. Clean toilets available, but no light. So don't stay after sunset like we did, lol. Then we walked down the short hill, had to cross the knee high water (completely save for little children), to find the small delta, and the small river. The view is spectacular as we are surrounded by hills and forest, very few people, and almost no trash (thank God).
On the way to hotel, we found out that it is only 30 minutes to the east from the town (Pacitan), so I suggest a better route from Surabaya is through the Ponorogo to Pacitan first, check in to the hotel then head to Soge.

Buyutan Beach

Reviewed By Mariapeni - Malang

Located near Klayar beach and Banyu Tibo Beach, its about 40 km from Pacitan town. Going to Buyutan beach was challenging due to road condition and there's no proper parking area. We park our car at dried paddy field because we can't park in the road side (the road only can passed by one car). Despite the hard road, the panoramic was absolutely breathtaking, especially on sunset time. Based on information board that the unique shaped of sea-stacks formation in front of the beach is the remnants of a small cape that destroyed by waves.
Beautiful beach...worth to visit

Pancer Beach

Reviewed By Emilie S - Hamburg, Germany

The beach is quiet long. Its windy. Next to the entrance is a place with trees but behind a little dam so you can'tsee te beach anymore. In the weekend it's really crowded (busses full of tourists arrive) and nearly everybody wears long normal clothes to go into the water. You would look like an alien in a bikini. When we were there some sheep came around. That was nice :-)
