Great scenery. You can visit the Bride Veil waterfall close by. Bring comfortable walking shoes and a coat, since it's usually drizzling and cool up there.

A gorgeous road that leads to the button of the hill. It was built by Jesuits, who planned it as a way to the flat above the mountain. Take a motorcycle and enjoy the way, no rush is compulsory once the road is made is slippery rocks.

The railway was exactly the same built two centuries ago. Historically it's quite nice 'cause you're able to see how it used to be on that time. But they still use the same slow, old and uncomfortable locomotives. They are really old and simply doesn't work as well as they used to.
Furthermore, you pay for a very expensive ticket to have such a bad time. The Serra do Mar is obviously amazing, but if you want to enjoy it, go by yourself, join a rural tourist group and explore the scenario on foot. You can rent a horse as well, it's a far better experience.
The train cabins are very hot and the seats are terrible. The company, Serra Verde Express, has the privilege of being able to carry people through one of the most beautiful landscape of Brazil, but unfortunately it seems they don't plan to invest on the railway or the train, I mean, hot, slow and terrible locomotives...

Near the river that cross the city and after some steps you can reach the church. There you can pray and have some peace.

An old bridge. It has its charm. But is not a must see. 30 secs of a walk should be enough to see and go on to the nice restaurants near by.
