Estrada de Ferro Morretes- Curitiba

The railway was exactly the same built two centuries ago. Historically it's quite nice 'cause you're able to see how it used to be on that time. But they still use the same slow, old and uncomfortable locomotives. They are really old and simply doesn't work as well as they used to.
Furthermore, you pay for a very expensive ticket to have such a bad time. The Serra do Mar is obviously amazing, but if you want to enjoy it, go by yourself, join a rural tourist group and explore the scenario on foot. You can rent a horse as well, it's a far better experience.
The train cabins are very hot and the seats are terrible. The company, Serra Verde Express, has the privilege of being able to carry people through one of the most beautiful landscape of Brazil, but unfortunately it seems they don't plan to invest on the railway or the train, I mean, hot, slow and terrible locomotives...
