This Temple was basically the prison of Kangsa, where Devaki and Basudev were locked up as prisoner. There are different shops( selling Puja material, decorative items and Sweets) inside the Temple premises. Heavy security is there. We need to keep mobiles outside.

The Goverdhan temple is bang on the road side, so be careful when you cross the roads Also be careful about the Cows and oxen, though they are not aggressive, some times, they suddenly start running, or something in your hand or dress would attract /irritate them, and would come charging at you.
About the hill, well, i couldn't see a hill, but yes small rocks are seen in some parts when you do the parikrama, a 21Kms circle around the hill. People walk, or cover the entire length by prostating on the path, or go around in a cycle rickshaw or an auto . It is said that a parikrama of the hill is compulsory. some also do the entire parikrama with milk dropping on the roads .be ware of the priests in the temple who will sweet talk you into donating more than what you had decided before entering the temple. be stubborn and clear. God will not punish you if you dont follow the priests demands. your faith and your pockets are your own, not others.

Lovely temple. Was not crowded. Interestingly the entrances have a different kind of architecture (a North Indian type of dome) . Once you cross that, it is fully like a South Indian temple/ There is a Lord Ranganatha on Shesha Naag and a Lord Ganesha temple inside. Its huge, very clean and was not crowded. There is also a large car park. Definitely a must visit for all.

It's about 9 kms from Kokilavan and 7 from Nandgaon, the road from Nandgaon is good, one has an option of flying about 100 stairs or take the car through slightly narrower road till the temple which possibly is housed in a Palace which closes at 12.30 . From their its about a ten minute drive to the other temple which closes at 2 pm for the afternoon rest. One can have a view of the whole of Barsana from the temple.

It is situated in Goutam nagar of Vridawan is the most protected monument famous for its handsome building and its marvelous architecture, it is somewhat the last example of the early eclectic style. The temple represents the perfect amalgamation of the Hindu and Islamic elements in Mediaeval Architecture. This temple is characterized by its architectural accent on harmony of lines and balanced massing. It reflects constructional unity more than richness of ornamentation. It is about 15 Km from Mathura Railway Station. It is a peaceful and nice place but there are so many monkeys.

Kusum Sarovar literally means flower pond. It's a beautiful pond on the Govardhan Parikrama path. People believe that Radhaji used to visit this pond in the morning with her friends to collect flowers. There is a temple - Sri Sri Radha Bihariji located besides the pond.
