Located along the cliff path, Cap-roig is a large sandy beach, surrounded by red-hued cliffs. It has been awarded the blue flag for its high standard. Among the many services offered are: restaurants, ice cream and refreshment stands, sun lounger hire, a lifeguard service .This year Cap-Roig has been awarded the blue flag. An award, only given to Beaches of the highest standards.
Made me happy. Small beach with mostly Spanish and French speakers. We went to the tiny bar on the beach and nobody spoke English. That was the first reason I was happy: the combination of my one-tenth Spanish and nine-tenths miming made the bartender and the people around us smile. We rented chairs with umbrellas and there was even a young man who set us up. After some time sitting in the sun walking along the rocks and jumping in the water, we made our way to the fantastic little restaurant over-looking the beach for fantastic black rice (all very fresh seafood) and cold brews.

I can't barely find a way to describe the beauty and the wild atmosphere one can breath at the natural park. So many things to do, to experience, to visit... I suggest beginning by the Casa de la Fusta and the Exomuseu in order to get to know the place and its main features. Most amazing spots: la platja del Trabucador and the llacunes...
One could spend a month visiting different natural sites and enjoying the whole Delta. I suggest as well visiting and spending time in Tortosa.
Congratulations to the natural park council for taking care of the Delta and making it accessible to everybody!

We were on a day trip south of Barcelona and pulled a u turn after seeing a large greenhouse complex along the highway. We were able to tour much of the facility which had thousands of bonsai specimens from just potted to many decades old. They are not cleared for shipping to the US but are for most EU countries. The prices were fantastic ranging from 20 euros to 5000 euros. You won't find this in travel guides but it was truly a wonderful break and time out during our day.

Muria Apiarian Interpretation Center is an innovative initiative created by Mel Muria, aimed at spreading the culture and heritage of the world of honey and bees. The Centre, covering over 300 m2, offers a tour inside the bee world through several areas where new technologies allow visitors to study bee-keeping in greater depth using various interactive and educational facilities.
First we entered the shop to find a huge honey Fountain and a swarm of real bees! Then we entered the museum, after a great video explaining everything you need to know about bees and bee products, the museum was fascinating, with history of beekeeping, how bees work, and a guided tour of the factory, after we put on a beekeeping suit and the guide took us to see beehives out in countryside!! To see the bees working was fantastic!

La playa de Santa Llucia es una de las mas grandes del termino municipal del Perello. El paseo maritimo que la bordea permite andar entre pinos y agaves hasta llegar a una zona rocosa donde se puede practicar la pesca.
The ideal place if you are after a romantic beach, recomend sunset for proposals and will never get it wrong as the auroa of the place just leads to romance.

Followed the signs , and eventually found ourselves out on a sandy beach on the delta . full of rubbish and detritus blowing in the wind.
There is unregulated crazy parking, and a cafe that was not appealing to the eye.
The wind sand blasted the car and us, cutting short our visit. However there is a long walk through the sand dune's to the light house that is the pictorial representation of this area.
Great for nature lovers once the rubbish from the parking area is left behind.

The Olles Lagoon occupies 54 hectares and is the smallest lagoon in the Ebro Delta National Park. It is connected to the Bay of Fangar through paddy fields and dunes and is just a few minutes from the beach. The Olles Lagoon is one of the richest and most diverse areas in the Ebro Delta. It is currently home to a large nesting population of aquatic birds such as the flamingo, mallard, night heronk
Really well located, just a pleasant, short (1 mile/1.5km?) walk from the centre of L'Ampolla along the sea front. Amazing to see so many different birds from the viewing platform (mirador) even in March before the season has really started. Well-made paths around the area and several hides.

We were invited by friends and spent a wonderful 90 minutes going up and down the delta. Teenage son enjoyed it in spite of language barriers - incredible to see how deposit of sediment and impact of ebb and flow of tide changes the shape of delta and deep/shallow water areas overnight. Would definitely recommend!

El Perello offers quiet and isolated, characterized by its great natural beauty and pristine Beaches
If you have seen great Spanish bays this is one of the really last great places. If you follow the footpath north you even come to the really remote places.
