Diner food, not fancy but good service and large portions.
Very seldom disappointed although on occasion there may be a different cook as the portions and/or the flavor seems quite different.
I do have to say however if there is an issue it is very quickly remedied by the staff. There are "special" value days like free pie All the perch you can eat special etc. Read the Blackboard for specials. I like the fact they will substitute a nice Greek salad for a slight up charge.

Kabogy is Great! Being of Lebanese decent the food was excellent. From the cooked kibbee, humour and tabouli, and right to dessert, hmmmmm baklava! Super friendly accommodating staff. One of the many fine Middle Eastern Restaurants in the City of Windsor. I just can not say enough about Kabobgy's. You have to experience it to appreciate it!

By far one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had!
The acoustics are very bad, very noisy! Furnishings were not very homey!
We ordered Caprisi salad and the tomatoes had no flavor like hot house grown!
My pasta had square chunks 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch squares of overcooked chicken
and very salty!
We had a table of young ladies maybe 15 or so nearby and the young male waiters were much more attentartive to the girls by far than to us.
We were brought the bill without even being asked if we would like desert so I still have no idea if they even offer it!
We booked the reservation with high expectations of impressing some American friends that came over for the evening!
All in all a total disappointment. Macdonalds would have been a better call!
We would never recommend this place nor would we ever return there!

The sushi is amazing, very different and modern. The value for their food is also phenomenal. Recently they've expanded the restaurant which is really nice since there wasn't enough tables for the demand before.
Service is a little slow and not the best. Sushi takes a while to make so that is understandable, however, the server never checked on us or offered to refill our water. For a good 30 minutes she just disappeared. She wasn't rude per say, she wasn't friendly either. She was indifferent and didn't really seem to care about providing great or even good service.
Would still eat here because the food is great, the service is just, meh.

My husband and I enjoyed the local grass-fed beef burgers, poutine and cabbage soup. So happy to see a restaurant using local meat from Wagner. Would love to see even more local ingredients used. The poutine is delicious with a legit gravy and loads of cheese curds. We will certainly return!

Italian cuisine at its best
Stopped in for dinner and were the only couple in restaurant, however it was early. Ordered two glasses of wine and a ceasar salad with a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was well done and the salad was quite good. However when the house salad came it felt as the salad had never been washed.very sandy. The Bologna se was flavorless although it was cooked well. I added peppers but did not improve. Did not stay for desert and probably visited for the last time. Too bad nice location but not worth the visit.

Had to check this place out due to their constant advertisement on the local AM station. It is OK but nothing fantastic. The pizza slices are just average and nothing to write home about. Suggest they learn how to improve their dough from Remo's at the Caboto.

Stopped for lunch the other day. Restaurant in a plaza the is hard to find. First impression walking through the doors was smell of grease from kitchen. That said coffe hot, lunch good. Had forty creek pita and salad both were good. Clean place ample parking, looks like a lot more take out than diners. Would return, but would not make a special trip.

Very fresh food with one of the best spicy & salty seafood plates anywhere. The combos are very generous and the hot & sour soup is excellent.

Often go to this restaurant during our annual family pilgrimage back to Windsor. Have never had a bad meal here and this visit was no exception. The group ate a range of meals including Chicken, Tuna, Pizza & Pasta, all served piping hot with attentive service through out.
