Last December my wife and I visit this beach. Have to admit that the water at this beach is clear blue, however the surrounding area was not that maintain, lots of rubish specialy the mineral water botle are in the premises. It is a shame that the local government don't put an effort to make this beach beautiful. It's just like a stranded beach, with lost of garbage.
Comparing the time and effort to go here, it's just a shame feeling that we got.

WOW. Although the cave itself wasn't that big or challenging. But for first-timer like me, it was tiring enough.
There's any lighting (yet) in the cave and if the Sunshine doesn't come in, it's complete dark down there. So prepare your flashlight from your cellphone.
There's some locals who will guide you inside and (although there's no written rule about that) we should pay them. There were 2 people that guided us from the cave mouth to inside. They helped us walking on the stones and helped us to take some pictures, as well. We agreed to pay them fifty thousand rupiah for that.

This is absolutely a building pit. The way to this so called number 1 beach in the area is quite nice with laughing children and a rural community doing their daily things but.. arriving at this abandoned building pit there's a guy who asked for admission which we didn't pay off course.
There's not really a beach, there's something of a huge concrete tank in the sea and trashfires and trashpiles everywhere. Again, nothing like a beach. Please don't go there.

FREE Admission, perfect place to see sunset. Long sand beach (Locals say Pantai Pasir Panjang) gets its name from the coast stretching from west to east (in the west of the Timor highway). This place is perfect to visit in the afternoon during sunset. The best place to view the perfect sunset is the road behind Hotel On The Rock. Besides sunset we could see the sights of fishing vessels that are fishing, small children playing and fishing along the coast, a local resident who is fishing. Sometimes there is a seller of snacks like meatballs and ice, which can be enjoyed while waiting for sunset. Tide occurs at noon until late afternoon.
To get here could use public transport in the form bemo number 10 or bemo Penfui, just tell the driver that you will stop at Hotel On The Rock, then walk around 100 meters behind the small road on the left of Hotel, you will find perfect wide place to see Long Sand Beach.

Rp 3000 admission. 4 levels waterfall with charming scenery. During the dry season when the water flow is not heavy, it is safe to swim here, but during the rainy season is not recommended for swimming. This waterfall can be visited before / after your visit to Tablolong Beach because it has the same direction.
How to come here: Navigate your vehicle to Oepura, then take Line 40 (locals say jalur 40). Niagara Oenesu located about 10 miles south of the main road (turn left), before Tablolong Beach.

If you aim to climb this mountain wear good shoes. The path can be very treacherous in the wet. The climb is strenuous and difficult in areas. Need to allow several hours to climb up and back. If you don't climb the mountain you miss the view. A good drive - over 90minutes from Kupang.

One Ketapang beach (locals say Pantai Ketapang Satu) located along Jalan Sumatera, Village Tode Kisar is one of the most famous beach in Kupang City because of its strategic location. It can be reached by foot from lavalon homestay or stay in the vicinity (street Sumatra).
