We took this hike with our tour director. Enjoyed the hills of carob Torres, oregano, mint, Thyme. Great views of the bay but especially the ghost town. So sad to see what people do to people. Be sure to read up on the history if you don't have a guide. These paths are a tough walk if you have joint problems. Take water, a hat and hiking stick.

Can you imagine, you wake up in a strange hotel, and find yourself locked in. You've got 60 minutes to escape!!! Do you think you have what it takes? You will have to solve puzzles, riddles, & identify clues. Using your powers of observation and problem solving you and your team will have to work together to be able to escape within the hour.
Whilst on holiday, we wanted something different to entertain us (late 20’s couple) and our grandparents (early 80’s couple) so we could all enjoy something together. I can definitely say we all loved the experience. 60 minutes all working together to escape the room before the clock runs out! No worries about “what if I’m not good enough”, as the personable owners (Jane and Ali) explain everything before you go in, and can even give clues to people who need that extra bit of help throughout. The clues were challenging but could be solved with a bit of thought and and attention to what’s available in the room. Absolutely brilliant all around, only 10 minutes away from the busy resorts of Hisaronu and Olu Deniz and even better to be able to get excellent food and drinks in pleasant surroundings when you’ve finished. Definitely recommended for individuals, couples, families and friends of all ages who want something other than the ‘main’ trips on offer.

We were looking forward to our night at the Reef Bar as we have been here in previous years and although it's quite a bit more expensive than other restaurants in Hisaronu, the food has always been delicious and a better standard than the norm.
On this occasion we were all very disappointed. The menu has changed slightly since last year and we think for the better. There is more of a selection for starters and this was a bonus. We opted for sharing starters but were surprised to see the portion sizes were not value for money - especially for a sharer. Saying that they were nice enough and tasty.
Our main meals were a real let down. Like I said, the cuts of meat and quality of food has always been really good but not any more. We had been warned by guests staying at pine hill about how the Reef Bar had gone downhill but thought it couldn't have been allowed to slip too much so went ahead and visited. The meat we had for our mains was steak and was tasty but certainly not the best cut. Basically there were no sides, not anything remotely colourful to make the main meal look appetising, just steak and chips that's it!
Our total bill came to three times what it would at any other restaurant but sadly the food and service quality was not three times better. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.

We were greeted by the guardian's puppy, FINDIK, which played with my shoelaces for 10 minutes. This site is a delightful setting full of birdsong. My wife spotted a short-toed tree creeper. Sadly the site is heavily overgrown with pines and has suffered terribly from earthquakes. If I had not had a map, I would never have recognised the agora. The Roman baths are of an unusual design, and it has long been debated about whether they really are the baths. One notable feature is the use of buttresses for the cyclopean walls, a feature I have not seen elsewhere on any site I've visited in Turkey of this period. I later learnt that on the S side of the hill is a group of monumental tombs. That of Salas depicts a mounted warrior. Parts of this tomb are in the British Museum

I and my wife spend some time in Fethiye which is the beginning point of the Lycian Way. During the ancient times, Lycian were connected the harbours with the cities on the Mountains by this ways. The landscape is beatiful. The route ends in Antalya. Anybody who visit Antalya, Fethiye or somewhere between these two cities must walk at least some part of the Lycian Way. The only drawback is the hot weather during July and August.

We are a professional team of pilots from Germany, Turkey and Australia. Our base is located in Ölüdeniz Fethiye, Turkey where we conduct scenic gyrocopter flights on a daily basis. Our pilots are highly experienced gyrocopter pilots and also fly as professional pilots on weightshift microlights, fixed wing aircraft and paragliders. Not only are we pilots but also flying instructors and examiners.
Just got back from my first gyrocopter flight and can definately recommend it. What a great experience skimming over the hill tops and down over the sea, great views of olu Deniz and the ghost town. I felt totally safe with the pilot and the take off and landing were so smooth. Everyone should have a go

Easy to get to on the local bus, having read the history prior to visiting, found the whole experience quite humbling, church is under restoration, so wasn't able to look inside, but the way the houses had been built onto the hill side is quite amazing.
Went at sunset, which was wonderful.
Lovely lady with local crafts at the start of the village, and a restaurant across the road.
Well worth a visit especially if you like history.
