But very interesting. You can walk alone through the little path and see and read the information. You can immagine what there is under the green grass waiting to be unburied.
There is a little museum and ticket entrance is ridicolous. Two Hours is enought to enjoy all.Pay attention because there is an underground ancient roman store and you can walk inside.Very beautiful....

Waited forever are a bar in disarray. Incapable waitress who was bullied by her colleague... After a mumbled apologie we had some doughie sandwiches, on a dirty table that I requested nicely to be cleaned twice.
We wanted to leave as but were prevented by a rude impolite security guard.
Spoiled part of our last day of our holiday! Please never go here!!! You have been warned.

The small museum is located next to a necropolis with many different types of graves. There are several other parts of the site (the beach where few artifacts remain; the city with extensive ruins and archaeologists still at work; and the museum with some very good pieces and very informative maps). Well worth a few hours.....especially for the maps and displays in the museum that give an overview of various aspects of ancient settlements throughout Puglia.

Went for day out with family including 2 year old. Entry cost 23Euros each with kids under 4 free. This only gives you entry to certain things. The Dolphin/Sea lion show and aquarium cost extra as do the FunPark rides. You initially drive through the safari area where you are close to the animals such as lions/tigers/elephants. There are deer/zebra/camels and donkeys wandering free that will come up to your vehicle. You are NOT supposed to feed these so watch out for the roadside sellers of peanuts and carrots as you approach the park - their prices are ridiculous - 5Euros for a bag of carrots and peanuts. Once on the safari trail you follow a set route in your own vehicle - bumper to bumper - if you try and give yourself a little room to brake should the vehicle in front suddenly stop the rangers will quickly move you on. The animals themselves leave something to be desired health wise although kids will be in awe seeing them in the flesh. Once through the safari you are directed to a carpark (cost 2.50Euros) and can then walk into the main area. There is a caged train that will take you through the monkey park but be prepared to queue - 2 to 3 hours on the day we were there! There are food/café areas in the park but these are very expensive (6Euros for a pre-packed chicken salad and 2.5Euros for a small bowl of fries). I would suggest a 'picnic' is taken as there are also areas where these can be enjoyed. Our 2yr old particularly enjoyed the animated Dinosaur area (Couldn't get him out). Loo facilities are adequate and plenty dotted around. The park is situated on a hill so wear sensible shoes. All in all a good day out that I would recommend
