Locorotondo is a town and comune of the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy, with a population of about 14,000. The city is known for its wines and for its circular structure which is now a historical center, from which derives its name, which means "Round place". It is located in south-east Murgia, deep in the Itria Valley, dotted with white prehistoric roundhouses called trulli.

the RestaurantThe green landscape of the Itria Valley is the setting for the restaurant.Located in the historic center of Locorotondo, Bina is the expression of the ability to integrate past and present. The environments are characterized by cross vaults, in a structure dating back to 700.The presence of subtle touches of light gives a warm almost zen, leaving intact the charm of the ancient walls in the full respect of the places. The beautifully restored fireplace and corner dedicated to barbecue, make the space truly unique and enhanced by the striking light design, for the magical atmosphere and an environment of rarefied elegance
Maybe one of my favorite dinners of our trip! Recommended by our hotel. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was extremely friendly. Our server was very helpful in recommending wine and dishes for us to share. All of the wines served here are from Puglia. We started with a bottle of sparkling rose, followed by a bottle of red for dinner. To eat, we started with the gourmet trio which had squash blossom courgettes, capacollo (so so good in this area), cheeses. For dinner we had a pasta and lamb dish with pistachios and mushrooms, and chicken which was stuffed with pork. And of course a tiramisu for dessert. After dinner, we even got a selfie with our server and the owner! Highly recommend coming here!

Superb pizza restaurant. We had the mixed meat and cheese platter anti pasti which was lovely.
Pizzas that followed were excellent. My daughter was in heaven!
Well priced and the service was quick, friendly and efficient.
We had an excellent bottle of local red too.
We will definitely be back.
Get there early though, it fills up quickly.

We looked on TA for restaurants in Locorotonda and liked the sound of this one and we weren't let down. We were given complimentary prosseco and as I wasn't particularly hungry they offered me grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the farfa beans with chicory which were delicious and for main he ordered Grilled Tuna which again was superb. He ordered the chefs special dessert and the portion which comprised of a large gateaux ,chocolate and biscuits mixed together and almond fingers such a large plate for one so I had to help him finish it. The staff are very friendly and if I were in the area again I would return.

Eight friends exploring Locorotondo and in search of lunch.
We found the restaurant almost by accident when exploring alleyways in the Centro Storico. And we were very glad we did; the service, wine and food were very good, with local Pugliese food and wine on offer.
Standouts for us were the Capocollo, the Orechiette with tomato sauce, and the Sporcamusa dessert - a local puff pastry stuffed with cream which had several of us purring. To drink we had the local Verdecha white wine - tasty and refreshing, but not too strong for lunchtime.
Sadly we never made it back for dinner as planned. Ah well, another time perhaps....

This is a great bar, just on the edge of the town and with fantastic views across the plain towards Martina Franca. It was a good venue for an early evening drink and lunchtime refreshment too, and is open throughout the day for food and drinks. The staff are friendly, and helped to set up the table football for us! It’s quite a trendy place, and is probably buzzing later in the evening – I think it’s open till 3am.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We stayed just outside Locorotondo, but it is very easily accessible even if you are staying a little further away. In this restaurant, you can pick your own choice of meat in the butcher's shop and they roast/grill it for you in a special kind of oven. The meat was one of the best I ever had and the side dishes were just as good, all at a very affordable price (approx. 20 euro per person for antipasti/meat/side dishes).

Stopped at this Caffe for a dessert and a drink after having had the worst experience ever, having had lunch at La Braceria a few meters away. Ice creams are superb and drinks were promptly placed on table.
Situated at entrance to the Old City, the Caffe Della Villa gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and integrity of the historical buildings there in.

Our cakes are prepared with natural ingredients and with a lot of love.
The owners of Trulli Beltramonto where we were staying suggested Pasticceria Caroli as we had expressed a penchant for pistachio ice cream. As we entered the shop we could not resist purchasing a tray of almond biscuits that were lovingly wrapped and later proved exquisitely delicious. We then turned to the main mission: The quest for the best pistachio ice cream. Just by looking at its colour and texture we could tell this was a superior offering. And the tasting confirmed this was pure pistachio ice cream heaven.
Thank you Pasticceria Caroli
