It was a nice day for only 19 euros.

Forestal Park offers you a brand new and original adventure park in Madrid. Suitable for all publics, Forestal Park is placed in a wonderful site of Madrid, surrounded by the most beautifull nature in Madrid. The activity, leisure oriented, includes zip-lines, tree exercises, etc...
This park was absolutely fun. I took three, 14 year old boys and we spent 3 amazing hours riding zip lines, climbing rope ladders, and testing our skills on high suspended rope & timber obstacles. They made safety a priority. The price was also very good. You can even save a few Euro if you book on line. There is a small picnic area and a few soda machines. There are also flush toilets. You have to follow the signs or you will miss the turn down the long dirt road to get there. All and all a great day.

Wasn't expecting to find a castle on our afternoon outing and nearly didn't go in but so glad we did. The castillo is an impressive example of how reconstructions can be done tastefully and without kitsch. Rooms have been simply refurnished with attention to detail. The written information is mostly in Spanish. Views from the battlements to the Mountains and lake are beautiful. If you are in the area it's worth to spend an hour here.

It was interesting that the blackjack tables are with a dealer, but you interact with digital systems to represent the cards. We spent a few minutes registering with our passports and played for a few minutes on roulette as our traditional routine. Overall a friendly and diverse atmosphere, but the table minimums are quite high and I think minimum bets are 25 euros for each spin or hand.
