Stand at the centre of where England's future was fought. Imagine and discover the stories unfold, brought to life in the exhibition and in audio as you follow the footsteps of the Norman & Saxon soldiers. Watch the compelling film about the Norman invasion, then plan your own attack on the country's most famous battlefield. See the new wood carved sculpture trail around the battlefield, experience the stunning 360 views from the new rooftop viewing platforms, and take your time to explore the monastic ruins. For kids we now also have a new kids natural play area, and a fun kids trail. Make sure you experience the atmosphere for yourself.
As members of English Heritage we have visited Battle Abbey, walked round the battlefield and visited the Visitor Centre on several occasions, but not for some time. I was therefore pleased to see the Children’s Playground, which our grandchildren loved and on a wet day, the upgraded paths. It is a pity that there is no longer direct access from the car park through the gate by the Visitor Centre, however the shop is a definite improvement. The cafeteria remains as good as ever!

We are a small family run plant nursery, farm shop and cafe established 40 years ago. The farm is nestled in a quiet rural location, conveniently close to the 1066 walk to Battle and within a few miles of Hastings and Bexhill. The nursery and farm shop sell a wide range of high quality plants and produce, many grown and hand made on the premises, with friendly and knowledgeable staff always available to help with any questions.
Lovely place for a cuppa but disappointed that you cannot select your own vegetables in the farm shop but you can select your own fruit.

At Aim we offer many different coaching options for everyone from those who want to just have a try right up to senior squad training. Fancy giving archery a try, not sure where to start then why not try one of our archery experience sessions. Learn a new skill and have some fun along the way. Want to take up the sport, then a beginners course is for you.
I did my 4 week Archery course here and had Colin as our coach, it was brilliant, Colin was so helpful in getting my form right and it was a pleasure hearing his stories. The site is great with numerous ranges to shoot at. Recommended as a place to start you off !!

Well laid out museum with a very helpful lady who is enthusiastic about the displays. Small but comprehensive. The Gardens are lovely despite the rainy day we visited them. Drop in for some quiet time.

The Granary Barn is set amidst acres of meadows and woodland and is one of a number of converted farm buildings. My vision is to create an experience which is personalised to each individual's needs using tailored product choices which will maximise the benefits to the client. My aim is for everyone who visits to feel comfortable and relaxed and discover a little 'Touch of Beauty'
I have been having treatments by Hannah at touch of beauty now for a good 6 months, ranging from massage, facial and gel manicures! (I love my French manicures) I love love love her treatments and the setting is just beautiful! She's always ready with my favourite hot drink and a biscuit and as soon as you walk through that door she is focused on making sure you have the best experience possible. If you're thinking of visiting for a treatment I would highly recommend it!

We have played golf at Sedlescombe for many years and it's always a pleasure to play here (unless it's raining) and golf is always miserable if it's raining. Me thinks anyway :-)

We are passionate about British design made right here in the British Isles and source, where possible, products made with sustainable or recycled materials, contributing positively to the environment and the UK economy. We have something here for everyone including a craft area safely tucked away from the entrance to keep young children occupied whilst you browse. We play great British music every day. Dogs are welcome.
We visited this first class establishment on our visit to Battle today and found a whole new area of quality British products both practical, quirky and of indisputable quality. The lady who we took to be the owner is a first class salesperson with a real interest not only in selling but ensuring satisfaction. A real bonus was my husbands free squirt of after shave which we took as a compliment for our business rather than a subtle way of suggesting he needed an urgent shower!!!!!!

This historic church is right next to Battle Abbey and the battlefield of Hastings 1066 and can be clearly seen from the Abbey grounds. Access is from outside of Battle and the Abbey grounds. While your car is parked in the Abbey and Battle car park why not pop in to this amazing church.
