Our motel recommended this restaurant. We visited on a quiet, mid-week night, when only the a la carte menu was available. The room had an olde world ambience, with well presented tables. The service was prompt and informative.
Our waitress cautioned us that the servings were on the large size, so we skipped the starters, and were glad we did. The meals took around 20 - 30 minutes to arrive, seemed a long time for a quiet night, but were well worth the wait - at least we know that our meals were really cooked to order. The quality was above average, say 4*, and the servings were very large. The desert menu looked good, but we had no room!
We will try this again when next in town, perhaps to sample the renowned buffet.

This is a passion for us. We are a winery, fine food restaurant and cottage accommodation. Much of our produce is locally sourced, including from our own vineyard, orchard, vegetable garden and herb garden. All of the wines are our own, from our own estate. We are now a private restaurant catering to our cottage guests but, depending on bookings, can sometimes also cater for other guests on Saturday evenings when we offer our degustation meal with live entertainment. We also cater for group lunches or dinners as well as functions by appointment only.
Food fantastic, owners fantastic, wine fantastic! What more can I say? Beef bourgignon, duck and venison sausage, wonton mushrooms with coriander all great

There is live entertainment every Saturday evening.
Had the beer tasting and there wasn't a bad one amongst them. Stayed for dinner and can highly recommend the Kangaroo and Mash pie. Great hostess and very prompt and personal service. Would visit again.

Wandering the main street we stumbled into this place and were surprisingly impressed. We had some fish cakes for starters and a couple of curries for main. Very tasty and ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly.
BYO but there is a bottle shop next door if you haven't already bought something locally.
Service was friendly and attentive and prices are about what you would expect.
Very happy and we will be back next time we are in Stanthorpe.

Aussie Beef Steakhouse is all about fresh flavours, combined with local produce & ...... damn fine steak. The Steakhouse serves only the best available tender, tasty steaks. Complementing its menu of beef cuts, is a selection of sauces and a wide variety ofsides. For those who prefer something other than steak, the Steakhouse offers delicious alternatives such as pork spare ribs, lamb, chicken, seafood and handmade pasta dishes.Perfectly matched to the fine food is a vast selection of local wines, beers and an equally impressive cocktail menu. Setting off the relaxed atmosphere, the fully stocked bar is the perfect place to meet up with friends before dinner.Knowledgeable and attentive staff create an ambience of comfort and warmth, in casual surroundings of rustic colours, exposed beams & subtle lighting.See for yourself what everyone is talking about.
Wow what great food cooked by a great chef. We had a small and a large fillet steak both cooked medium. The best we have eaten and absolutely perfectly cooked. We also had a dozen Sydney oysters which were excellent and carpaccio of beef again perfect. The price is not expensive for such great food. Go you will not be dissappointed

Lucky enough to come here twice while here as wanted somewhere nice for lunch and found it not realising we were coming back the next day with our wine tour.
Absolutely amazing food for the money and puts some Brisbane restaurants to shame. I had aracini and pork belly and hubby had the the tasting platter with matching wines, all for less than $100.
The next day we returned and we all got the 4 course tasting platter as part of our tour price and once again absolutely delicious and could not fault a single thing.
Absolutely must try, just a shame it's not open for dinner.

What a lovely little find....I could've spent hours just looking at all the treasures they have for sale and on display.
But the real treasure is the food...I had the breakfast bruschetta with added avocado and I wanted MORE!!! (even though I couldn't fit more in)
My husband had the savoury mince with a poached egg...he was murmuring mmmmm and yuuuuummmmm all the way through it. The BEST savoury mince he's ever had, apparently!
Very generous portions, this lady has a way with food!!
So delicious, wish we had found this little deli cafe earlier.

Set high in the hills above Glen Aplin, only 15km South of Stanthorpe, The Bramble Patch is the only "Dessertery" on the Granite Belt, so visit us for morning or afternoon tea or make sure you save some room after lunch! We serve a range of sumptuous sweet things including waffles, poffertjes, freshly made berry ice creams, sundaes and sorbet. During the warmer months enjoy these in our beautiful Gardens with a delicious mixed berry smoothie or during Winter find a warm place next to the fire with a hot DiBella coffee. While you are here you can also sample our range of award winning gourmet preserves that are all made on-site using local fruit and vegetables. With over 60 products in the range including jams, sauces, coulis, vinegars, pastes, chutney's and relishes there is something to satisfy every taste. Our range of fortified berry wines is also available for tasting. The Bramble Patch is open 7 days (excluding some public holidays) 10am - 4pm and we are child and dog friendly!
A slight winding detour off the highway but worth it. Great atmosphere with friendly staff but the desserts are worth it. The range of award winning products made on site is quit astounding and you can taste before you buy! It's just as well that I don't live closer as I would not be able to resist regular visits to indulge in the fantastic dessert menu. It's on my list of "must visits" every time we drive past.

We travelled over 900 km today, arrived at OMaras, one of the few places still accepting orders at 7:45pm on Friday night of long weekend. Unfriendly staff, plastic food, (ordered 2 x chicken Parma’s and 1 x Seafood basket) plus untastely!!! salad and disgusting chips. Avoid this place at all costs

Continential style pastries, traditional breads made from organic flours, range of tarts and slices all made on premesis
Zest Pastries has the flakiest pastry I’ve ever seen on their pies and sausage rolls. Hubby and I shared a cooked beef rib pie and a sausage roll and both were divine, with the sausage roll having a nice bit of spice in it. All of the food looked mouthwatering, including the freshly made gourmet salads. We even came for lunch a second time whilst staying in the Granite Belt because we were so impressed and we would definitely return when next in Stanthorpe.
