We took a menu of 5 courses with wine. The food was very delicate and refined, the wine excellently combined with the dishes and poured generously. We were very pleased with the evening. I liked the old interior, places like this are very traditionally decorated and this is their strenghth. The prices are decent for the quality and the service very friendly. Plus the beautiful view to Zurisee... I would be very happy to go there again.

We had dinner in this place, after a brief walk from the hotel. The place is very romantic, located in a nice building in the early '900 style, with a nice view on the lake. The service was carried out by a senior lady, that appeared to be very annoyed for the show-up time (9PM), even if the kitchen was expected to stay open until 9.30... the garden restaurant was quite populated and we discovered she was completely alone for the table service. The menu offered a nice choice of typical food, but the table service was horribly slow (the same senior lady, overtasked!), so we were hurried to take our choices. The check was a bit higher than expected, considered the service and the quality of the food.

Eder's Eichmühle has the perfect location in the countryside a bit off Wädenswil. Their garden is wild and still very well maintained.
We went for the menu and were happy about the food. The first course was very nicely presented and tasted amazing (sashimi, prawn). The second dish was tempura fried Dover sole on a cucumber carpaccio - simple and nothing really exciting.
The main dish, Swiss lamb from the alps, was too heavy for me - a huge portion of meat!
The Cuban chocolate dessert on an apricot sauce was to die for!

the restaurant of this gasthof is a bit upmarket when looking at prices, but boy it's was good. First of all we got a nice table outside, second we where served by a very nice lady who was very helpfull with our selection of the meat. (dry aged beef, on display near the entrance of the restaurant) the starter was a nice soup which was ok, but the entrecot was fingerlicking good. together with a nice beer we had a very nice dinner. The restaurant attracts quite a mixed type of visitors, we enjoyed observing at least some of the visitors..

Came here upon recommendation from work colleagues for a business lunch. The lunch menu is great value - 3 courses. The salad is nothing special but fresh and a decent serving. I had the steak with asparagus. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorsome. ANd the asparagus also very well cooked. Dessert was some pannacotta. Overall good, fast, service and a nice lunch,.

We wanted to try local food and we went to this place with my family. We were delighted by the food and service. Staff very friendly and the menu has lots of options. The taste of the food was just delicious from the appetizer to the desserts. Good restaurant.

Wiesengrund is a place we always go to when we have something special to celebrate. The warm atmosphere inside during the cooler season and tables under the old trees in the garden in summer are a perfect background for the delicious food. The wine list is fantastic with a wide choice of fine bottles. Service is friendly and impeccable. Definitely worth the trip up lake Zurich.

Restaurant Villa Sunneschy is open all year around. We have a Restaurant with 3 different sections, Smokerslounge with Cigars, Semminar Rooms, a Ball room and a huge Terasse outside for 100 People. Perfect for Events! Very kid freindly seeing that we are direcktly on the Lake, and have a small Kids Play room. Mostly everything is homemade using fresh and local Products when possable. This is another post to this amazing restaurant, The Villa Sunneschy. I had brunch here last week and decided to make a dinner reservation. When I arrived it was almost as if I had not seen the restaurant before because the views were once again breathtaking. After being seated in their Terrace area, I ordered a mixed salad as an appetizer and the cheeseburger for my main course. Just as my salad came out, I watched as the sun began to fade, and the ambience grew. The servers lit candles on the tables and the white napkins and flowers also added to the mood. I loved the salad and there was lots of dressing just like I like it. Afterwards my cheeseburger came out and it was huge. I had not seen a portion so large in Switzerland up until then. I finished about ¾ of it as well as some of the fries but it was too much even for me and I am not a small guy. I really wanted to try some dessert but I could not and settled on a coffee instead. All in all my past two experiences with this restaurant have been exquisite and I could not have found a better restaurant with better food, ambience, and location. I travel to Zürich often and the small detour for the food in the restaurant is a must. I continue to recommend this restaurant to all my colleagues who also travel and cannot wait for my next visit!

Der Gasthof Frohsinn can be found at the harbor Stafa and has a restaurant downstairs which served "matilda's smoker bar" on the 1st floor, a quiet restaurant garden and 12 rooms for long-term residents. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous parking spaces, the station and the ship station. Culinary we aim to utilize only the best regional and seasonal ingredients. We work almost exclusively with Swiss meat, preferably local, organic production. You will find no flavor enhancers and artificial ingredients. This is such a friendly restaurant. Great atmosphere where even a lone diner is made to feel very welcome. Informal surroundings, coupled with lovely food. Tonight I enjoyed a delicious mushroom soup, and probably one of the best Rösti I have eaten. Thank you

My Swiss friend took me to the restaurant on week end according to her city resident who wants to go further up to the lake loves to go to the restaurant especially during summer for picnic. The location of the restaurant is by the lake so the view is amazing. This is a family restaurant which existed in the area long time. They serve different kind of foods but their speciality is lake fish (even I cannot spell it the name) which is fried served with whatever you like fried potato, mush potato or rice. The taste of the fish was good but I prefer to be grilled or marinated.
The service was excellent, the ambience was perfect. It is good for new experience having lunch with local food.
