Rapperswil (Swiss German: [ˈrɑpːərʃˌʋiːl] or [ˈrɑpːərsˌʋiːl]; short: Rappi) is a former municipality and since January 2007 part of the municipality of Rapperswil-Jona in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland, located at the east side of the Lake Zurich.

Millennium project, pedestrian wooden bridge between Rapperswil and Hurden separating the lakes of Zurich, and the Obersee, constructed at the turn of the century, and inaugurated in April 2001. At about 920 yards, it is the longest wooden bridge in Switzerland (841 m) built on more than 200 supporting piles made of untreated oak with the expected lifetime of 50 to 70 years. Historically, it is a part of the Way of St. James, Jakobsweg or Via Jacobi in Switzerland, in between St Gallen and Einsiedeln Abbey. Scenic route offering beautiful panoramic views overs the lakes and surrounding Mountains, makes a nice walk from Pfaeffikon to Rapperswil.

I highly recommend this to everyone! The Alpenbad is the perfect combination of being in nature, enjoying an incredible view, relaxing in a hot tub of water, catching up with friends, while enjoying a good old Swill Fondue and a glass of wine. Heinz & Orlinda are incredibly awesome hosts that are attentive if requested, yet leave you privacy. If you are looking for something a bit different to relax, you need to give this a try! This is an adventure no matter what the weather, so rain or shine the Alpenbad this will be an incredible adventure!!

i think this is one of the best chocolate shops I have visited in the lat times. Spacious and great arrangement and the smell of chocolate one is just happy! Chocolate brings happiness and you really feel it here.

Well, this place is very exotic and the decoration in this place is oriental/morrocan.
The entry area was empty as it us nom-smoker and the area behind is smoker area and packed. For non-smoker we feelt orcured to sit in an empty area and the assistant offered us a different area, which was smoke free and some people sitting there but the room temperature was chilling 19 degrees. Therefore a moroccoan grove/atmosphere never came. However kudos to the owner as this place has been around for over 10 yrs

been there for gambling a few times but it is the worst casino in the canton of Zurich! young kids trying to double up their salary and eventually loosing everything is terribly annoying. dealers don't really know what they are doing and if you are experienced they are just annoying you by handing out card without asking them. terrible place, I'll never go there again!

Really great place, super busy at the weekend and school holidays. Mainly focused around older kids slides >10 and strong swimmer. probably not the best place for <8's and not worth the money for them either. Really should have cheaper family tickets.
