Sogamoso (Spanish pronunciation: [soɣaˈmoso]) is a city in the department of Boyacá of Colombia. It is the capital of the Sugamuxi Province, named after the original Sugamuxi. Sogamoso is nicknamed "City of the Sun", based on the original Muisca tradition of pilgrimage and adoring their Sun god Sué at the Sun Temple. The city is located at an altitude of 2,569 metres (8,428 ft) on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.

Well,in my opinions this is an over rated place to eat,perhaps... it's good for the locals but not for international visitors.The food is ok I guess,but not to much of a choice.Do not recommend it to any of my travelling friends,there is much more and better typical places to eat in the Sogamoso region.

You can find fresh trout from the local lake Tota cooked every way you can imagine including trout rolls stuffed with prawns and tuna. They offer other excellent dishes such as pork cooked on the grill with a cheese and pineapple sauce. The Gardens and decor are outstanding. Service very professional and attentive. I expected to pay more for such quality but no, the prices are very reasonable and all the main courses are served with a well presented salad. I consider this place so good I would plan my next excursion to Lake Tota around lunch here. Very busy at weekends !

I ate here several times during my stay near Sogamoso. The crepes were excellent (and huge!). Service was great as well. Nice spot to enjoy good food in the area.

We ate here twice, once in the evening and once at lunch time. Both times we were very pleased with the quality of the food, and the service. We were given a complimentary soup and the 2 time a drink as well.

Very well located at the center of the city, this place is good to have some drinks and eat at nights. They also have live music Performances with a very good attention of employees.

Es un buen sitio, nuevo pero el servicio me impresiono, es increible como se atreven a ubicarse en la mitad de dos titanes de las comidas rapidas de Sogamoso, aunque debo admitir que eso se llama confianza, pues al tener un producto tan bueno, una variedad tan asombrosa, tener un servicio tan amable y unos precios tan espectaculares, es obvio que van a llegar lejos... lo recomiendo 100%

The restaurant is located in a beautiful place. The decoration is nice, very Mexican but the menu is not all Mexican food. I recommend the Punta de Anca. It is cooked to perfection! The yuca is simply delicious. Good and fresh juice too. Sadly the salads are not good. That is something they need to improve. Also the background music was pretty annoying and not appropiate for lunch time.

Looking for a place to eat in Sogamoso? Look no longer. This is it.
I visited El Bodegon with my family, and we were all left with a really positive impression.
They serve incredibly well tasting Italian pizza, made from a range of fresh ingredients. It's the type of pizza that instantly satisfies your taste buds, and that you can't get enough of. But it doesn't stop there. The staff is also incredibly attentive, and looks after you from the moment you arrive, to when you leave. There is also plenty of space, so bring along all of your friends & family! If I could eat here every day, I would! Enjoy.

Entre todos los restaurantes visitados en Sogamoso el mejor. Platos muy bien preparados. Ambiente excelente. Música apropiada. Precio razonable. A no dejar de visitar.
