Set in the village of Senlis just outside Paris this resturant was recommended to me by a friend to whom I will be for ever greatful.
The cellar setting is unusual and the barbecue style cooking something that appealed to me. The visitor needs to take care when ordering steaks here as they can be enormous!
Superbly cooked just as you like it they can also leave business meetings rather quiet as your colleagues and guests purr over the great taste of the food
A must visit for the carnivores amongst us!!!!

Recommended by the owner of the B&B where we stayed and a good choice. Easy enough for everyone to find something on the menu that appealed, food was tasty and we were able to sit outside absorbing the history and atmosphere of the square.

We were here last saterday, 21th of February, and is was super!! Very friendly, quick service, great desserts, specially "les profiteroles" :-) Next time we are in the neighbourhood, this will be our stop!! Greetz, Patricia & Frederik (Herk-de-Stad/Belgium)

We were warned that they were serious foodies and didn't cater with 'childrens menu' but the chef suggested a slightly simpler menu by themselves and the food, all of it, was great quality and delicious. One of the best meal I have had for a long while. Yes they are gourmets but obviously want their guests to take pleasure in the food as well.

We found this tea shop and restaurant in lovely Senlis, off one of the cobbled streets in the old town, whilst looking around on Saturday. The main interior is an elegant wood-panelled Salon de The and shop (selling coffee beans and a dazzling array of...MoreThank you very much , We are very happy you enjoyed our tea room restaurant , all the-staff is doing his best. The restaurant is in a pretty spot and has a beautiful decor and very pleasant atmosphere. The courtyard is also nice, they really have made an effort! The lunch was nothing mindblowing though, in my mind the food was only average, presentation the same. so it really depends what you are looking for; for mindblowing food, go some place else, but for a moment of peace and quiet during your day, at a beautiful place with your friends, this is just the right spot. they also sell a wide range of teas and some small nibbly things to buy.

Easy access by up arenas and Rue de Beauvais (under prefecture), near the Place Henri IV and the Town Hall. We speak English. Kitchen House from raw products. Large selection of cakes and pancakes. Menu "Bistrot" with traditional dishes, formulas for lunch on weekdays with entrees, mains and desserts of the day. Pleasant room, friendly service, open Terrace from April to late October. Credit Card, check, lunch checks accepted.
Two cousins took over this stylish space a few months ago. How ever special it was before, it is even more exceptional now.
Delicious, fresh food, very reasonably priced and extensive wine list and generous smiles all round made for a special autumnal evening. Highly recommended!

This restaurant, now run once again by a previous owner (Jacques Campion), continues to turn out excellent food, accompanied by an excellent service. French in the traditional style, it would be difficult to be disappointed by a visit here, although its proximity to Paris and the wealthy areas surrounding Senlis and Chantilly rare reflected in the prices. A well thought out menu, always reflecting locally sourced produce in season, provides ample choice. Recommended from our latest visit - a starter of scallops with foie gras (mouthwateringly delicious!) and some perfectly prepared local deer. Seating available in the delightful garden for those long, summer evenings. A piece of advice - this is not a restaurant to visit for a long, leisurely lunch; the staff will make it quite clear when the clock approaches 2.30 and it's time to leave.....

One of the best meals in a four-day tour of Northern France. The royal city of Senlis is picture postcard pretty, with a rich history. And the food here matches the look and feel of the place. Great ambience and sensible prices with service to match.
