It is virtually unprecedented for me not to leave a tip but I did so here. The food was pretty awful and certainly nothing tasted particularly fresh or homemade. The service was dreadful and there was no attempt whatsoever to make us feel welcome. One waiter simply dumped the bottles of water and wine on the table and didn't bother to pour anything from them and another knocked my cutlery on the floor and simply left it there. We didn't see the view as it was night time but, hopefully, that's some compensation! Go to one of the other restaurants in the town as this one doesn't deserve your custom.

We were taken here by our driver as part of a day long tour of Trapani and the area. Everyone enjoyed it and our service was great. Loved the fresh pasta dish but couldn't eat very much as it was late and we had a big meal scheduled back on our ship that evening. However my husband's mussel soup was the best we'd ever had. Delicious rich tomato based broth and small tender mussels. Lots of grilled bread to soak in the sauce. Would go back for that in a heartbeat.

The views are beautiful. The rest was sadly disappointing. The first and second wines we asked for from the menu were unavailable - something else was recommended and it was OK. The sea bass I ordered for my main course was also unavailable and I was only told after my starter had been prepared. We had to ask twice for salt and pepper. Having said all that the pudding recommended to us was delicious.

It isn't hard find find La Pasticceria in Scopello. It is situated in the middle of the village and there are a lot of seats outside (normal tables and lounge).
The food is typical for sicilia: dolce, dolce, dolce. But they hVe also some other food like pieces of pizza, sandwiches or bread.
But that's not what you come for. You have to try the sweets, and be aware - there are lots of sweets. Especially those with pistachio are worth to try. They also have ice cream which is very tasty and with 2 euro for a cup very reasonable.
The service is kind and helps you through the variety of sweets. There is self-service but they help you with your orders and they're very quick cleaning the tables after one leavs.

As our hotel included breakfast and dinner, we used Nettuno to have lunch or relax ahead of dinner. Food was simple but tasty and the drinks, including the wines, were of good quality.

We came here as a family of 4, primarily to be within walking distance o 'Tonnara di Scopello' found a gem of a town and gem of a hotel by accident. Rooms, food, staff, pool, parking were all exceptional. And you can walk down a back dirt path approx' 500m to the access to 'Tonnara di Scopello' beach. My only reservation was the service at the bar that is attached to the hotel, was poor, but I am unsure if this was part of the hotel or sublet to accomodate hotel guests when they were in the pool grounds. But still a great hotel and place to eat and relax. Also only 50mtrs to all cafes, restaurants etc in the picture postcard town of Scopello.
