In our elaborate restaurant by candle light and low music you can taste the best of traditional Baltic and European cuisine served by polite and service-minded waiters. The restaurant also provides services for organization and carrying of banquets, parties in a friendly.
Promised to be the best restaurant in Saulkrasti, it turned out to be a pretty poor experience. Service was fast and ok, drinks cold, Terrace quite big to accompany many tables and even surrounding fun (next to the hotel there is a garden with deers) and then there was food.
One of the best ways to test the restaurant is to have pasta. If they can make it, then there is a decent chance that the other food will be good as well. In our case, both pasta dishes were bad. Carbonara consisted of good amount of good bacon, but the rest was a disaster - spagetti way overcooked, no sauce, garnish 1,5 halved cherry tomatos and a tiny leaf. Similar story was with Chicken pasta - overcooked (but not as much as Carbonara), lack of sauce, slightly over chicken and the miserable 1,5 cherry tomatos and a small leaf. Disappointing.
So, by far this place cannot be named as the best in Saulkrasti. Better luck next time.

Located on the seaside, this place is certainly strong in terms of location. The portions are huge, prices on food (not drinks) are low (considering the quantity and satisfactory quality), the staff is friendly. Maybe not very professional, but friendly and helpful.
We are different main courses for lunch: pork, fried cheese, fish in Chinese sauce (under a pile of onions and carrots fried in a pan).
If you are hungry, and want to dine with a nice view, this is definitely the place I could recommend. If you are a fan of fine dining, maybe a bit less. ;)

Situated at the beach overlooking the sea. Cosy and chill atmosphere. Good drinks and huge variety of sushi. Bit dissapointed about the ceasar salad with prawns - small, just a few prawns inside and crisps used instead of crusty bread. But doesnt matter! Had a great relaxing time :)

We are SIA ''Bemberi maiznīca.'' Two cafes in Saulkrasti city, about 45km from capital city - Riga. We have delicious cakes, cookies and bakery with special Latvian recipe. Also You can eat some vegetarian salad. We have delicious pizzas, kebabs and Latvian food. Our location is about 5 minutes walk from Baltic sea. You can relax at the beach and get some good meal. You have to try it out.
Bemberi bakery-cafe (Vidrižu Str.) is best place in Saulkrasti to get early coffee because they starts at 6:00! Other Cafe (Raiņa Str.) starts few hours later, but still one of "early birds" comparing with others Saulkrasti cafes. Fresh baked bread, cakes etc. for sweet start of the working day is just perfect. I'm client for many years and have special clients card which gives me 5% discount I use for orders and lunch meals.
Best place to sit together and talk over.

Thing is - the place is nice, the food is good and I think that the chef/cooks are also good and had the service been ok, I would have given this ~4 stars, but the waitress outdid herself. We ordered 3 dishes, one for me, two for my girlfriend and a coke for me. I got the coke in a can with a straw. Apparently they were out of glasses or the waitress just didn't care.
My girlfriend ordered a soup with chicken I think, but instead the waitress brings us borscht. When we asked about it, in a matter-of-fact tone she replies "oh, we're out of that soup, didn't I tell you?" Fantastic attitude :D
What's more fantastic, she forgot about my order, so I didn't get anything to eat and when I went in to ask (because she never visited our table, being too busy looking at her phone in the corner of the restaurant), the cooks were confused because they never got the order. They felt guilty and wanted to make it up for me but I had had it of this place and we left.
If you go to this place and see a young girl with light hair with a disinterested face that is not adorned with intellect, leave immediately. We did visit some time ago (I think it was August) so things might have improved.
Only reason I give 2 stars instead of one (since it was my worst restaurant experience ever) is that we ordered a takeaway sushi for our friend (the only reason that order went through was because we gave it straight to the cooks) and she said that it was really good.

Coffee House where we prepare coffee on sand, tea and other drinks from all over the world
Cozy & small cafe to taste the coffee from different parts of the World - Arabica coffees from Ethiopia, Sumatra, Mexico, as well as exclusive Blue Mountain coffee, which is grown in the Mountains of Jamaica.
Local sweets goes great together with coffee, especially ZeDonuts donuts and cookies from Ramkalni.

Nice and cozy place at the heart of Saulkrasti for laid back summer evenings. The staff seems to love what they do and therefore service and food are great. The adjacent Terrace has a roof so rain is not a problem. Take your basketball with you because there is a basket in a parking lot and you'll be to be active while food is being prepared.
