My family enjoyed a superb meal at Toscana tonight.
We booked a table and ate in the garden area which was nice.
Service was great with all staff very friendly and helpful and the food was both plentiful and of excellent quality.
Drinks, starters, mains and coffee cost only €59 euros which was great value and we will definitely be returning.

Milano is a great place to eat. Huge menu, great prices, and a staff who really know and care about the menu. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We visited this restaurant after a long and exhausting day sightseeing.
We walked into the restaurant and were greeted warmly by the waiter.
It was warm and there is alot of memorabilia around the room.
The tables are set up elegantly also with the lights down low with candles being lit on our table.
We ordered tea and apple strudel.
The strudel had just been baked and the aroma throughout the restaurant was simply divine.
Service was fast and efficient and the tea was good quality.
We were five people and our bill was just over Euro20,00.
I recommend this restaurant.

Eddy's Mosthof is a stunningly quaint place to visit. It appeals to locals and tourists alike because of its unique atmosphere. For the best Jausen around, this is the place to go. Also, the ribs that Eddy prepares are truly excellent.
It's one of my favourite places in beautiful Lavanttal. From the restaurant, you have wonderful views of the valley as well as the impressive Koralpe.
Eddy is a wonderful host that will look after you and make you experience one to remember. If you are in the area, you must visit this place.

On a biking trip with friends , who are from the area , we stopped here for lunch. Our friends knew this restaurant which is beautifully situated in an old tower of the former town fortifications.
The terras , where we had our lunch , is right on a part of these fortifications. Just magnificant.
The suggested light summer lunch was fantastic as was the wine suggested by the friendly owner , whose wife is the chef .
Truely a gem in Sankt Veit to keep in mind and visit

A beautiful location situated inside of an old an historical building which is also used like musicians school. This location posseds also a beautiful garden, where calm and tranquility is garanted. This square and italian flare offer you to enjoy good and fresh prepared italian food! We are looking forward to welcome you in our Osteria.
Nice restaurant with a good ambiance, especially the outdoor Seating area. We tried the grilled calamar that was served on a bed of roquette with polenta cakes. We also had the pasta with crab sticks. We found the food to be good, but could have been better with more adequate seasoning. Overall, the service was fine. food was good and the setting really nice.

We had our speakers dinner at the Suppenkasper; the staff was very friendly and had good recommendations; the wine (and choices of wine) included good to very good Austrian wines. The presentation of the food itself was good and also the taste of it was good. Definitely a restaurant you can visit quite frequently to have reliable good food in St. Veit an der Glan

To find this amazing restaurant isolated in a rural region of South Austria was a wonderful surprise. Excellent food and service in an elegant environment. The menu was typical Austrian cuisine, which can be very hearty and tasteful. At Liegl these qualities are complemented by excellent products, as well as by french techniques in the execution and presentation of the dishes. Excellence naturally has a price: you may easily spend 50 euros per person for a lunch there. But it is totally worth it.

We ate here mid afternoon during our holiday in Carinthia. It's a charming place, nicely situated and near Hochhosterwitz castle. It looks to be beautifully renovated without being fussy and we found it very comfortable. The room we were in had a lovely exposed brick vaulted ceiling.
The menu is written in dialect and this was a nice original touch. It seems that the owners have put a lot of thought into this restaurant and it's well promoted and advertised with interesting promotional events. There are different special offers for every day of the week. We visited on 'steak' day but we didn't have the steak. The other days include backhendel on a Saturday and there's a fish day.
The food was good. We had meat patties with mash and gravy, and a meat and cheese platter. There was also a sweet noodle dish of what looked like Karnter nudels filled with a sweet nut filling and covered in melted butter. Prices were very reasonable and as I recall the main courses we had were around 10 euros each maximum.
Everything about the place was good apart from the attitude of the staff. Our waitress was pleasant enough but there was a lot of bustling about preparing for the night, or the following day which was a bank holiday. We felt as though we were in the way. At one point, the restaurant manager and the waitress came up to our table and proceeded to adjust our tablecloth because it wasn't straight. There's Austrian efficiency and there's a fussiness that is over the top. We were not bothered if the tablecloth was straight or not. We'd rather have had a friendly conversation and a warmer welcome. That really was the only thing lacking at this lovely restaurant. That said, I would like to go back and give it another chance and would certainly recommend it for the food and the atmosphere.

we found this restaurant by accident since it is well hidden along one of the side streets in the center of town. It is a large place with many different rooms and an inner courtyard with a small Fountain, plus an outside courtyard. The outside eating areas are filled with wooden tables/ chairs or plastic ones, so it is really an informal place. We saw that they do pizza Delivery and seem to be busy doing a lot of this. We ordered their pizzas and found them to be good if you like thick to medium crust type pizza. Overall, it was nice and definitely less crowded than the ones found in the center square area.
