Mainstream tourists haven’t discovered San Vito lo Capo yet—so if you’re looking for a low-key, authentic Italian beach break, now’s the time to book your trip to this seaside Sicilian town. The weather is best in the summer months, but foodies might want to wait till September, when San Vito lo Capo hosts its annual Couscous Festival.

There is a lovely atmosphere in this restaurant and sitting outside as the delicious smells of grilled fish waft by whilst sipping a Pinot Grigio is heavenly. We began with the antipasti which was gorgeous, bursting with flavour, delicious proscuitto, peppers and artichokes. I've been there twice -once for the vegetarian and once for the sweet crepes-pistachcio. The second one was absolutely my favourite and while eating it I couldn't resort saying "mmmm"-really delicious. Very good place for families with kids also because they serve fast and without glass tableware which is safer.
And overall good value for money - prices vary from 4€ to 8€ with possibility to share as portions (especially for the sweet ones) are really big.
Highly recommended!

Food at Tannure restaurant is of very high quality. Lot of local, fish, specialties. The portions are not abundant, but just enough. Staff is very friendly and if you stay at Hotel Tannure, the prices are great. Definitely a good idea to sign up for meal plan.

Came here 2 or 3 times during our week in San Vito. V cool little bar, great location from the beach and for people watching. The traditional pre dinner drinks snacks here were delicious and very generous! Staff were quick and polite

We were really excited to go to Zingaro Hotel, based on the reviews. We weren't disappointed, but it fell a bit short of the reviews. The food was very good. The tuna was extremely fresh and very well prepared. I got the tartare as an appetizer. it was wonderful, and so fresh! I also had a grilled trio of fish- prawns, tuna and swordfish. It was also delicious, but the tuna that I ordered rare came out overdone. They took it back and gave me a new one, which was much better, and quite delicious. My husband had an octupus salad and spaghetti and clam sauce that he really liked. Services was a bit slow, but what really upset me, is that I asked to have my leftovers wrapped up, and they threw them away. The waiter apologized, but they didn't even bother to offer to comp us a drink or dessert. Overall, while we liked this place, there are better places in San Vito, that are more reasonably priced with better service. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away, either.

This restaurant is now a few years old and is thriving. The menu offers meat as a break from the sea food and cous cous available elsewhere. They have extensive and large (!) antipasti boards of cheese and meat and also meat tartare as well as burgers and steaks. There are a couple of options for veggies - the fantasia estiva - a tomato and avocado version of a tartare and caponata as well as lasagne. They also offer a signature rabbit dish. It's busy as it's so good so make sure to book. Any they excellent thing about this place are th drinks and aperitivos - one of the best in San Vito (picture provided!). It starts at 7 and is a fantastic way to end a day at the beach : recommended!!

Very Elegant Restaurant....super menu..excellent value...the Trapani Pesto Busate was very good...exceptional service...so why not 5 stars....I think there is room for improvement in the kitchen...the combinations of tastes were very good but NOT excellent...source of most complaints was lack of freshness...
My take?...too warm the kitchen and food prep area...a common mistake.., the super hot kitchens can kill a salad in two minutes...yet they are standard...add fresh fish to the picture, and you get where I am coming from.

Simply eaten arancine, the guy explained me what he had and how it works.
Because everything was already off, he suggested me not to warm the arancine up even if they were cold. I appreciated his suggestion.
Same for panelle, he preferred not to sell me the cold one he had for not upset me with the taste.
Coming back!
