A €100 buys you two 90 second sessions with an instructor - ours was very good and ensured that we flew up, down, left, right and everywhere! Was it worth it? Hmmmm....it's quite a trip to the edge of Warsaw and there is some waiting...Moremhmm... the price is 41,5% lower than mentoined, its only 58,5 EUR per basic package. Hope to see you soon in Flyspot again :)

Mme Tussaud's but in steel. Welcome to the Skup Złomu Przy Czołgu, a junkyard slash scrapheap, of which the owner had the brilliant idea to start a gallery of metal art. Figures out of famous movies are interspersed with supercars and themed furniture. My favorites were the Alien, Terminator T-1000 and Predator figures. Of the cars I thought the Maluch and Mercedes the nicest. My son preferred the Lamborghini and the Minions though. Also I thought the tables with tabouret seats were a great addition. All in all a great find. Spent some quality time there. Not cheap, 25 zl for adults, children at 8 zl discount. Heartily recommended!

After being leveled when the Nazis left, this whole neighborhood of cobblestone Gothic streets and alleyways, baroque palaces, numerous churches and tiered burghers' houses were masterfully reconstructed to reflect the atmosphere of bygone days.

The shopping area sports all the mainstream brands, from Cropp to Kazar and from H&M to Vistula. There's a regularly changing center display, like a candy house out of Hansel and Gretl, or a Christmas decoration, always something awesome for kids to behold.
From time to time a regional market is organized, with offerings of fresh artisanal bread, smalec and smoked meats. Supermarket area currently run by Auchan.
The food court is well stocked with the usuals, Asian next to Mac and TexMex next to Greek. Plenty of Seating. Great cinema complex featuring uptodate movie selections. Outside, other big brands are available, such as Smyk, Go Sport, Leroy Merlin, Saturn, Ikea and Praktiker.
Great mall/centrum handlowe. Very good for quick shopping. Can get very busy however with parking lot overflowing. Parking area is also a little dangerous, difficult corners without good visibility. Take it easy when navigating there.
All in all to be recommended.

The museum is located at the original place of the transitional Nazi camp for refugees fleeing the Warsaw Uprising. Consists of a small but comfy shed filled with displays and exhibits of memorabilia, actual reports of the prisoners and historical facts. The museum is modern and audiovisual. After the shed, visitors can take a walk around the remnants of the camp and see some nice, red-brick industrial buildings.

Z racji godziny obszedłem budynek i miejsce zdawało mi się na tyle ciekawe aby przyjść tam o odpowiedniej porze jeszcze raz. Miejsce wygląda i jest dworkiem, gdzie mieści sie muzeum. Mogę powiedzieć, że łatwo dojechać do Ożarowa nie tylko Pociągiem podmiejskim ale i autobusem startującym z Cmentarza Wolskiego.

Miejsce szczególne i zasłużone dla polskiej kultury. Mieści się tu światowej sławy zespół artystyczny prezentujący kultywujący tradycje tańca i muzyki ludowej. Obchodzi w tym roku 70 lecie działalności. Zespół ma swoją siedzibę w pięknym parku. Obiekt można zwiedzać oraz uzyskać wiele informacji o historii i przyszłości artystycznej Zespołu Mazowsze. Na terenie znajduje się nowoczesna sala widowiskowa, w której koncerty.

Quite hidden, in the small town of Pruszkow, a unique exhibit centered on ancient iron smelting "industry" of Mazovia. The museum itself, located in a beautiful mansion surrounded by a park, is very compact, state-of-the-art interactive. The displayed artifacts are also explained in English (even German). There's path for kids with educational games etc.

Magnificent palatial and garden complex was built by King Stanislaw August Poniatowski during the second half of the eighteenth century and features the neoclassical Palace on the Water (Lazienki Palace) surrounded by magnificent Gardens, canals and ponds.

If in Warsaw do plan a day to relax in this massive park and enjoy the green area, large pond, peacocks, swans, etc... then the squirrels :) and finally but not least the actual royal residence. We could have spend the whole day there that is if we did not have other plans.

When in Warsaw the Powązki Cemetery is a must especially around All Saint’s Day Nov 1st because this is when families visit family graves with flowers and candles to pay respect to loved ones who passed. Some graves go as far back as 1820 and there are many beautiful statues and monuments. The so called Aleja Zasłużonych - entrance through gate nr 3 next to the church - is where the important and famous Poles are burried - actors, politicians, army generals, ministers, historical figures, authors, Nobel Prize winners. Normally it’s a serene walk along paths covered with maple leaves but around Nov 1st it feels a bit like a pre Xmas mall visit. However, seeing all the candles lit at night and the demonstrated strenght of families remembering their loved ones is extra special and not to be missed.
