We popped in here for lunch on the recommendation of John, the barman at Sorrento RSL. Although they were closing, they quickly rustled us up some noodles and chicken dishes. Delicious! Old school tasy Chinese... memories of childhood came flooding back. I loved it. Reasonably priced and good size servings.
Nothing pretentious, good simple food.

This was my second visit. Have to say the quality of the food and wine is superb. They offer 2 or 3 courses for a fixed price. The 2 course was $55 pp and in my opinion is more than sufficient. Add a glass or two of wine and it’s around $160 per couple for great service and superb food. I had a salmon entree for a glass of Portsea estate Pinot Gris and for mains had the ocean trout with a Pinot Noir. A side a greens completed the meal. Service as always was faultless. Many people say this is their favourite restaurant.

Modern Wine bar and Fine Dining Restaurant located by the seaside town of Tootgarook, (Land of the Croaking frog) New location for the former Winery restaurant Veraison Restaurant.
The meals were fantastic. the duck with mushrooms was probably the nicest duck dishes I've ever had. We payed around $70 a head , drinks shared entree, main, shared sides, Deserts. I was surprised that such a high quality fantastic resteraunt is tucked away in sea side resort. The attention to detail and care is obvious everywhere. The waiters and owners were attentive and ClearIy wanted to make our dining a great experience. I can't speak more highly, and can't wait to eat here again

Dined here for dinner tonight as a table of 5 pax. For entree I had fish cakes & other diners had mixed entree & spring rolls. For main we shared green chicken curry, massaman beef, spicy lamb stir fry, chicken fried rice with steamed/coconut rice & roti. We all enjoyed our entree & mains. Delicious flavours & good serving of meat & veges in all dishes. We were able to make a last minute booking. Service was friendly. Will definitely return again.

Steam is a funky modern Asian eatery that offers tasty food, friendly service and a picturesque setting opposite the beach in Rye. Our style is based around share plates and interactive dining so you can either choose a little or a lot and enjoy a range of flavors from our extensive menu. Our influences range from Japanese, Chinese, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia and we're not afraid of a bit of spice! Our live oyster tank is a feature of the restaurant, highlighting our focus on fresh seafood and produce. We offer selections for most dietary needs and are available for group booking and functions upon request.

Went looking for breakfast this morning and found the Peninsular Pantry tucked away in a back street. I should keep this a secret so I can get a table in the future but what a great bunch of people. I had a vegetarian breakfast and my partner traditional poached eggs bacon on rye + mushrooms, so many mushrooms I was able to have some as well.
I had the poached eggs on rye with avocado mash and beetroot relish with dukkah.
Truly great food and flavour. Can't wait to return.

A cute and clean Cafe, situated right on the foreshore in Melbournes popular seaside resort of Rye. Serving creative breakfasts and lunches, prepared using fresh locally sourced ingredients. Imola Red serves Segafredo Italian roasted coffee both hot and strong. A must stop when visiting the Mornington Peninsular.
I've driven past a thousand times and never noticed this little gem. The crew are more than happy to whip up whatever you want! Coffee is excellent - perhaps next time I'll order a double shot!Hi Simiong Thanks for your your 4 star review. Glad you found us. Trust we will see you again.

Take away food is very subjective but for our first visit to Hectors for take-away lunch we were very impressed. The chips were in plentiful supply, nothing was over cooked so the potato cakes (scallops) and dim sim's were perfect and the fish was coated in lovely crispy and tasty batter. I'll be back again if I get the chance in future.
