Jacques Waterfront Dining is one of St. Lucia’s most popular restaurants, with a long-standing reputation for consistency in both the quality of the food and the service with which it is delivered. We recently re-opened in a new and exciting waterfront location in the heart of Rodney Bay. This intimate and elegant restaurant right on the edge of the marina is set within the beautiful Gardens of Harmony Suites Hotel, with superb uninterrupted views of the marina and hills beyond. Find us just off the main street in Rodney Bay, first right after the East Caribbean Village condo complex. Chef Jacques is well travelled, having worked in Africa, the Middle East and Far East, and enjoys bringing his various culinary experiences into his cuisine. When asked about his style of cuisine he likes to talk of fusion. French and Caribbean cuisines are melded using his French cooking experience and the wonderful Caribbean flavours that are available to him on a daily basis.
Jacques Waterfront Dining was our favorite restaurant in Rodney Bay area. The ambience was the best, the food was delicious and the service outstanding. The owner, Cathy, was readily available to make sure everything was going smoothly. We ate dinner there four times during our two week stay on St. Lucia and each time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster specials were excellent as were the jumbo prawns. Desserts were also very good. We recommended the restaurant to people we met and they loved it so much, they went twice.I highly recommend this restaurant. As an aside I was at the supermarket in Rodney Bay and just had my credit card with me and no other identification. The cashier wouldn't allow me to purchase the few items I had without a photo ID. The store manager stepped in and the problem was resolved. That night we went to Jacques for dinner and Cathy, owner, had seen this transpire at the market. She said she was just coming to write a check for me to pay for the items but I had solved the problem. That is the kind of person she is!!

Whatever you do, don’t leave Buzz till your last night. Besides their à la carte menu they have nightly specials. Buzz has been operating for 12 years and Pat Bowden and Chef Marie who have worked together for 37 years have been successful in all their restaurants. Pat has created a restaurant and bar with a warm ambience, friendly atmosphere and lots of charm. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor Seating and as the name implies, is abuzz with activity. Food is presented on dishes in varying shapes, sizes and colours. Buzz is known for Seafood; Fresh Tuna, Potato Crusted Snapper, Baked Mahi Mahi filled with Avocado and Shrimp, Swordfish and a variety of Shrimp, Scallop & Lobster dishes (in season). House specialities include Homemade Raviolis, Lamb Shanks, West Indian Pepperpot, Rack of Lamb & Black Angus Beef hand trimmed and served with a variety of sauces. Homemade Desserts include a Trio of Crème Brûlée, Warm Apple Crêpes, Chocolate Mousse and Banana Pecan Bread Pudding. Mervin the Bartender will whip up fun cocktails like our “famous” Mango Dacquiri, Buzzing Bee Stinger and Buzz Cooler. Not only does Mervin keep the guests amused with his “chat”, he also keeps the children amused with his “card tricks.”
Been here twice. Totally content and satisfied with the food. Had the Moroccan lamb shank with mash. It was excellent. Meat just fell off the bone. But the service is slow. Staff seem unsure of roles and importance of pace. They really would benefit from being much more organized. But again - no qualms about the food.

We saved the best ‘til last! We ate out most nights during our holiday in St Lucia and the Big Chef Steakhouse (please change the name!) was easily the best in the Rodney Bay Area. As described in many posts, the Bruschetta is delightful. THIS is for the diner in Bay Walk Mall / the cafe burnt down... Food at the Diner is not very good and way overpriced / had breakfast this morning, two small eggs, two small slices of bacon, burnt toast and two tea spoons of hash browns all for the grand price of 25 EC / way too much and way too small / will not return... oh yes, the jute box plays the same song over and over, like really!!!!

Spice of India, currently rated as number one restaurant in St Lucia, is a sophisticated Indian restaurant situated in the heart of Rodney Bay. Owner and Restaurateur Chef Adil has travelled across the Atlantic Ocean creating scintillating dishes to satisfy the palates of eager patrons throughout the Caribbean. Along with his sous chefs, Chef Adil has brought the modern Indian style of cooking based on ancient tandoor techniques to Saint Lucia. Get a feel for India in the uniquely designed restaurant, and succumb to the wiles of fine dining. Also newly opened waterfront restaurant at Capella Marina in Marigot Bay---MASALA BAY--serving Indian and Indo Chinese fusion cuisine.
After Reading great reviews, we knew we had to try the Spice of India. We were extremely satisfied and our expectations were exceeded. The staff were amazing and made us feel welcome and really special. We were given lemongrass scented towels for our hands before our meal. The menu is huge - there is something for everyone.
We had the crab meat bonda and fresh garlic naan with melted cheese. I am allergic to fish (which is often substituted for crab) and the server made sure it was, without a doubt, crab in the dish. I really appreciated this. It is clear the staff care about the guests and allergies/food sensitivities. I am drooling thinking about the garlic naan with melted cheese. It was so good.
We were brought a complimentary appetizer from the chef after our first appetizers.
I had the prawn malabari, which had bell peppers, tomatoes, basmati rice, and coconut cream all perfectly blended with a variety of spices. We had the deep fried chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which was recommended by our server. It was AMAZING. We were then brought a complimentary dish of candy coated anise seeds.
This restaurant is amazing. The staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable and ensure you enjoy the best meal in Rodney Bay. Highly recommend.

We are a french Restaurant and we also have four rooms that guests are welcome to book.
This little restaurant in Rodney Bay suited us well. The staff were really friendly from the start and that encouraged us to stay for dinner. The place had a rustic, casual feel and the food was good. Th only disappointment was the the profiteroles were a bit dull and limp. No complaints about the prices - excellent value for money.

Very tasty authentic Asian food. Lovely relaxed setting with open windows giving a welcome breeze. Large menu choice. Portions are not too large. There is so much food on offer at the BodyHoliday throughout the day you don't need anymore. Pre booking is essential. Dinner only.

The Naked Fisherman offers relaxed dining, that you would expect of a Caribbean thatched beach grill.
Someone at the airport mentioned The Naked Fisherman Bar and Grill. We rented a car for a few days and found the restaurant - luckily. It is on a black beach down an alley and down several steps. What a great place...outside, beachfront with great food and drinks. It's a must if you can get there when visiting St. Lucia.

Providing authentic Caribbean delights such as Chicken, Beef, Shrimp , Vegetarian Rotis as well as pineapple, banana, chocolate, cherry, mango and coconut and cherry cakes. We also do home cooked dinners which can include stew local chicken, beefy curry, shrimp curry, bake pork, fish and cucumber gravy and more.
Liz makes the best roti’s which are reasonably priced, super filling and just down right delicious. I’d read previous reviews of Liz’s cuisine and when she approached us in a friendly manner we decided to give it a go.
If you’ve never eaten a roti it is a delicious pancake type flatbread with the most divine curry like filling, perfect for a beach snack. Liz makes them with fish, shrimp, beef, chicken and vegetable. My favourite was definitely the fish closely followed by the shrimp. Her cakes are also worth a try.
Liz is a lovely lady who is a born and bred islander who is more than happy to help you with recommendations and top places to visit.
My only advice BEWARE THE HOT SAUCE (its amazing but a bit pokey)
Thanks Liz xx
