Quite good selection on the menu. Had a pasta as a starter. Very big portion for a starter. Went on with chicken. also great quality. Of course it's not exactly cheap, but spoil yourself at least one evening when you're in the hotel.

La Table du Château is a contemporary fine dining restaurant in the heart of Domaine de Labourdonnais and welcomes you in a wooded and modern atmosphere. Chef Fabio Poli proposes a gastronomic and creative menu inspired by the fruits and vegetables of the orchid. La Table du Château is open 7 days a week for lunch, from Wednesday to Saturday evening (with a different lunch and dinner menu) and all week for your private parties on reservation. Chef Fabio Poli has over 20 years of experience in the kitchen of well-known hotels. With its gains, he offers a new facet of home cooking and flavours of Mauritius, rigorously selecting ingredients and spices . So you can enjoy as you wish, Catch of the day, glazed with Soya and maple syrup Wok sautéed Udon noodles with vegetables, buttered spring herbs greens or rather a dry lamb curry with croutons of bread, roasted almonds and raisins, seasonal kucha pickles , steamed rice and black lentils , or other creative dishes as all that will awaken your senses. And for the delight taste buds, the desserts are not to be outdone Bananas " zanzli " Roasted Toffee sauce or crème brûlée with vanilla of Labourdonnais are among the various sweet and delicate flavours .
The menu looked amazing and the setting of a restaurant in front of the beautiful colonial building all lead me to think that this was going to be a fantastic experience.
The prices (which were steep) also made me think that this was going to be a special meal which would stand out from the rest.
Despite a very dedicated level of service the food itself was disappointing. The Angus steak was well cooked but lacked any particular taste which made it stand out from any other piece of meat. The sauce was also inexistant. Accompanying the steak were a couple of lonely pieces of vegetables which were undercooked and bland. Not what I expected at a high class restaurant in Mauritius.
I also took the risk of the signature chocolate gateau. Drowned in chocolate sauce which made the ingredients indistinguishable. Not a good choice.
I’m afraid that although I may go back to see the chateau and the grounds, it won’t be to eat there.

Went there for one evening. Had an Indian set menu with 5 or 6 different courses. Big variation ion the quality. The lamb soup was great, the butter chicken a big disappointment (... the butter chicken in the main restaurant in the hotel is superb.... this one SO not! ). The other courses in between.
But very nice setting overlooking the golf course, and attentive and professional waiters. Good bread also.

Stroll down a lantern-lit pontoon that heads mysteriously through mangrove trees until you find yourself in the romantic seclusion of Le Barachois. Enjoy a candlelit feast of fresh seafood as you float above the calm water of the lagoon on one of the restaurant's 5 floating decks. Opening hours: Dinner: 7.00pm - 10.30pm
We decided on this restaurant during out stay here and the recommendation of one of our friends. Easily the best dinner we had on the island. The entire experience was an event. Right from walking into the restaurant, as well as the frankly delectable cuisine on offer. The wine selection was excellent and the atmosphere was great. No visit here is complete, I feel, without a dinner at Le Barachois.

Savour fine dining and discover Constance's philosophy of food with a light Mauritian twist at Archipel restaurant. Beautifully crafted food is served in an elegant setting with view out across the beach or the infinity pool. Amateurs de vin can request to have their fine food pair with an exclusive wine from our wine cellar. Opening hours: Breakfast: 7.30am - 10.30am / Lunch: 12.30pm - 3.30pm / Dinner: 7.00pm - 10.30pm
The Archipel Restaurant is the principal restaurant of the Prince Maurice and located next to a stunning pool area and to the beach. The cuisine is the best in the hotel with daily changing dinner menues. We enjoy very much the perfect service and the contact to the chefs explaining their recipes with the ingredients and the way of cooking. There is a lot of expertise and the cooks have been trained in many countries in the world. The restaurant has the largest wine cellar on Mauritius with 16.000 bottles, including the well known super Tuscans from Antinori and some more rare precious wines.

We are staying at The Residence and found this restaurant offered better lunch options at a better price than our own hotel. Portions are large and there is a large selection of vegetarian food however more than one vegan option would be great! Very nice view and furniture. Service is good, our food came quickly and the staff were friendly enough. Only thing was that although the food is better than our own hotel some dishes are amazing whilst others are bland. Drinks are expensive but tasty.
Overall a good option if you’re nearby, we wish we had stayed in lux belle mare to make use of this place more!

Bistro & beach Bar serving eclectic food and drinks, both indoors and on the beach terraces overlooking a fantastic turquoise lagoon.
This restaurant has a great location. The food is good and reasonable for Mauritius where going out is a pricey affair. I had a burger which was great and my wife the seared tuna which she says was incredible.. if you are staying at Azuri and not on an "all inclusive" this is a great option.

Seabell Restaurant situated in the north east of Mauritius five minutes from the Poste la Fayette beach and Bras D'eau national park.At Seabell restaurant we use only fresh ingredients and every dish is done a la minute. Our restaurant is a combination of old and new mauritian cuisine .If you want to try local then this is the right place to have it.Hotels like Azuri ,Radison blue ,La Maison D'ete,Jalsa beach and Le Prince Maurice is at a distance of 5 to 10 minutes by car,if you are staying around you must make it a must to come. And hotel on the east like St Geran ,Belle Mare plage ,Long beach, is only 20 minutes away
Seabell Restaurant is a wonderful family run restaurant. We visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay in Mauritius. The chef is hands on and the service is friendly. The lamb samoosa's are a great starter and I can highly recommend the prawn and lamb curries for mains. The food is made fresh so you can expect to wait a bit longer however the quality and flavour is so worth it. I will definitely visit again and high recommend this restaurant.
