The holy city of Rishikesh, in the base of the Himalayas, holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for local Hindus. Sacred rivers and mountains set the scene for yoga and reflective hikes, and rafting here is an absolute must. The Beatles got in touch with their Eastern spiritual side here, writing several songs during a 1968 stint at a local ashram.

Our cafe, opened in 2006, provides customers with a relaxing atmosphere. On warm sunny days you can lounge on the upstairs patio, situated above the Ganges River overlooking both the holy river and a bubbling creek surrounded by flowers and trees. On chilly winter days the fireplace is ablaze providing a warm abode to relax and read a book with a cup of warm Masala Chai. Enjoy a variety of our own organically grown salads and vegetables, homemade soups, and fresh baked goods. All our vegetables and most of our fruit are grown in our surrounding Gardens and prepared on site by our talented young chefs, many who have been trained hands-on by international chefs. ~DINE FOR A CAUSE~ Not only is the food the most fresh in Rishikesh, but the café plays a large role in supporting Ramana’s Garden Children’s Home with 100% of the profits, while allowing them to work for tips to fund their college education and gain necessary skills for future employment and life.

We stopped here briefly for some hydration. It was packed. I have dined here in the past and yes it was also packed. They are quick to serve and the menu is an entertainment in itself. It is thick, full of stories to tell and amuse.
The view of the Ganga is magnificent. We had power drink. Very nice.

Jazz, Blues, Chillout Cafe. Restaurant in pyramids or outdoor dining, and Guest House. Staying in clean rooms or Pyramid-bungalows, all with attached bathrooms. Free hot shower, Wi-Fi, drinking water and toilet paper. Situated in a green and quite place under the trees, overlooking the Ganges and view over the surrounding hills. Widest music collection in town, among which Chillout is the favorite. We also have 2 Yoga Halls and teachers available.
5 stars seems too low for this place. I could say this may be the most amazing breakfast I've ever eaten. How did they get such flavor? The mint lemonade was truly amazing. Service is friendly. They had filtered water and will refill your water...MoreThanks for your review. We appreciate your opinion, it keeps us motivated to make it even better.

This is one of the very few cafes in Rishikesh that serves chicken. Mostly all other cafes serve veg food and eggs. We went here for dinner and ordered Thukpa and banoffee pie. Both dishes were fine. This place is a little difficult to fine and a short dark climb from the main road.

'The Sitting Elephant' is a one of a kind theme based restaurant, which overlooks the 5km stretch of River Ganga. Surrounded by hills on three sides with the holy Ganga flowing through it, the multi-cuisine rooftop restaurant offers a distinctive dining experience for the guests
our (wife & myself) 4-days stay at EllBee Ganga view was wonderful & memorable one. comfortable & pleasant stay. staff were more courteous and prompt response to any of our requirement/request. Food was Delicious and palatable. "sitting-elephant - restaurant" on the 5th floor especially, the roof-garden, gave us a wonderful opportunity to see and enjoy the panoramic view of "Holy-Ganga". Besides, we could enjoy both 'Sun-rise & Sun-setting' from the roof garden (5th floor) of EllBee Ganga.
