Despite the good choice, excellent food and central location, I would not come back as the smoking area (bar) is not separated (open wall sections) from the restaurant and all the bad smell disturbs a lot. The restaurant needs a proper separation from smokers to avoid the disgusting atmosphere. Hope that the Austrian lawmakers will quickly implement the smoking ban in restaurants as other civilized nations too!

Very rich choice of mexican and tex/mex dishes, hot potatoes with any kind of filling. All the dishes seemed to be great. Can only recommend. Dimmed light, very nice interieur, just perfect!

It was a rainy Sunday night in Reid and we didn't feel like cooking. There were only two restaurants open on Sunday evening and we chose Reider Wert. We had a lovely table overlooking the beer garden.
Our server knew more English and we know Austrian. After a series of of exchanges in pantomime, fractured Austrian and halting English, we ordered warm onion bread and pretzels and sparking Reider beer. Pumpkin soup followed with pumpkin oil floating on top. It was warmly satisfying after a rainy day. There were four of us, one had goulash, another wild mountain sheep, another pork and one beef. Each was filling and good.
Austrian food isn't inspired but one is never hungry after dinner.
Our server was wonderful, she was smart, humorous and fun. What the food lacked, she made up for it.

I am a student and I go there about once a month just to get the Bosna. Havent tried anything else and I dont want to!!! Other than the normal poor european service, the food is a little pricey but worth it!!!

I came to see this bar some a few days ago and I was astonished to find something like this in my (quite small) hometown. Very cool Bar/Cafe, nice atmosphere and music.
And also a huge compliment to the kind waiter! :)
Cheers, see you next time!

A traditional Austrian Pub named after the Poet Franz Stelzhamer. In our Restaurant we don't just serve the Austrian classic dishes but also have a selection Indian Dishes . We can cater for up to 450 in our main Event Room as well as a romantic diner for two. A traditional Pub with an Indian Restaurant.
Ate here twice for evening meal and really enjoyed the food. The venue is well decorated and make sure you check out out the rickshaw downstairs near the bathroom. Imported all the way from Bangladesh I understand. Service was warm, friendly and relaxed. The starters were very good (poppadoms, tuna fish balls & samosas with a great selection of different sauces - chilli, mango, yoghurt and tamarind). For mains I would highly recommend the lamb rezala, beef vindaloo and dal. That said the butternut squash and butter chicken dishes were also very good. I liked that you were able to choose rice or bread with your mains. We tried both. For desserts the ice cream sundae with berries was delicious as was the rice pudding and mango. Excellent. Worth traveling for!
