Great little find. Full of local characters with tourists sitting outside by the sea on the pavement. Enjoyed several different tapas at mostly 5 euros each. Good service and really chilled beer. Wished we had enough time to return. Excellent chicken and the prawns in garlicky oil were delicious with crusty bread.

There are other restaurants in the area with better views, but this traditional spanish restaurant clearly caters for the locals and whatever tourists stumble across it. The fish soup and house salad were particularly good and the house wine was very good value. The service was slow and the food came out when it was ready (not always all together), but that didn't lessen our enjoyment.

We never had the opportunity to try it. Despite waiting patiently to be served whilst locals who arrived later were treated to a chat and service, we were not even acknowledged by the chap behind the counter. To help him, and in anticipation of attracting his attention, I took an ice cream out of the freezer and put it on the counter.
To no avail, eventually, putting the ice cream back before it melted, we left.

The restaurant seems to cater for American style food with large burgers and pizzas so after ordering we were pleasantly surprised to receive a typical canarian amuse-bouche which was tasty and original. The calamari we had for starters were cooked well, not tough or chewy which is often the case and with a very light batter. Pizzas for mains were also good.

My Wife and I spotted this restaurant while exploring the North East coast and stopped for a light lunch. We had a great welcome from the staff who could speak good english and enjoyed a table looking out on the sea. We had and shared a mushrooms in garlic and a portion of grilled sardines together with a slice of garlic bread with tomato and a plain garlic bread. This food was delicious and the staff were so friendly that we made two more visits while we were touring the Island to sit and sip the Sangria which was also very good and had a second lunch there too.
It has a small parking area off the one way coast road or you can park inn the village close to the restaurant.
