I like truffles. You can find food with truffles in a lot of restaurants. In the Pizzeria Nono you get a pizza with truffles. And I liked it. Although the Pizza looks different as they put a truffles sauce on the pizza like a pasta sauce. I was the first time in the Pizzeria Nono. But my mother-in-law and her friend were already well known guests there. The pizzas were great. You choose better the small one for one person. We were sitting inside. The restaurant is simple. The service was friendly, but not very proficient. I prefer to get a new tablecloth instead of trying to clean it with a towel.

This was the best meal we had during our stay. A great location and attentive staff helped make this a memorable evening.
We both had the white fish with asparagus and vegetables followed by a dessert and washed down with a local good wine all for 600 kuna.

We had a cake for 21 kn so for that money I expected something delicious but the cake had way too much sugar and strawberry cake tasted like it had no strawberry whatsoever but only 'chemistry'. Maybe we should have had icecream instead :/

My Wife's and my Starter Mussels, were excellent, as was my Meat Platter and the House Red Wine, but my wife's Fillet Steak, was extremely rare, even when she ordered it , she said, she wanted it, cooked well done, with NO pink showing, the waiter said, no problem, when the Steak came, blood was just oozing out the middle of it, the only area that was cooked correctly were round the edges, my wife complained and the Manager said they never cook their Steaks Well done, if it's not cooked well enough for you, just hand it back to them and he would get to Chef, to cook it again for you, well I'm sorry, you listen to your Customer's REQUIREMENTS, not what your Chef's view of a Steak is.
After speaking to the Manager about listening to the Customers view he agreed to a 50% deduction on my wife's Fillet Steak, we were really looking forward to our meal here after Reading great reviews, we pre booked our table, but our Night out was spoilt
not listening to the Customer

Konoba Daniela is a family-run and owned restaurant just a few kilometers outside Poreč. You can surely feel the family vibe of this place since everybody is really friendly and nice, relaxed and wearing a smile, even when the place is crowded. I can appreciate that.
The most important tip I can give you is - make a reservation. Konoba has a big covered outdoor Terrace but during the season, they extend it to the garden as well and that’s where we were seated.
The place is very crowded and I got the feeling that a lot of locals eat here as well, which I took as a really good sign.
We tried a cold plate (cheese and prosciutto) and marinated sardines (“srdele na savor”; 35 kuna/less than 5 euro) as an appetizer, together with some table wine (malvazija). Definitely try the sardines since the dish is very authentic and unusual (fried sardines marinated in onion, garlic, herbs, wine, lemon and oranges).
For the main course we had steak in mushroom sauce (125 kuna/17 euro) and fuži (pasta) with black truffles (95 kuna/13 euro). Steak was perfectly done, very tender and juicy, and the pasta was good as well.
They offer a wide range of meat dishes (from 60 kuna/8 euro for ćevapćići and kebabs to steak with truffles for 155 kuna/21 euro) as well as fish and other seafood (1 kg of white fish is 330 kuna/45 euro). Their signature dish is steak tartare and they prepare it in front of you which is a really nice touch. Steak tartare for 2 persons is 135 kuna/19 euro.
For dessert we had a fruit/chocolate/caramel cake which was a bit too sweet for my taste but excellent choice for my “sweet tooth” partner.
I can say that konoba Daniela offers a good value for money and I would surely visit again when in area.

I visited this restaurant with my wife and two kids (10,15). First, the location is much silent from the others busy places. The team are so pleased and welcome. Ana, our waitress was just great, very helpful and easy talking. We ate pitza, spaghetti and Turkey. The food was also very good. Pitza normal is very big. They aren't accept credit cards but you can pay in KN and euro as well by cash.

What a view!
We are traveling in Istria with friends and visited Porec as well.
This restaurant is situated right at the harbor and Falstaff and Guide Michelin did write recommendations.
We had a good start with the waiter who has some profound knowledge about local wines - recommendations were given and we started to eat and drink.
Some of the seafood was raw and nearly everything was delicious.
Than there was a problem with raw mussels and we experienced it being solved in the most professional way: the food was taken back to the kitchen and just a moment later the owner came and said that he was very sorry. He said that he received the mussels hours ago (which he proved by showing us the invoice) and that he would call the Delivery service right away to find out what has happened.
I think that is the best way to handle such incidents and will for sure happily get back here and have more raw things, liked the rest a lot!!
I also tasted some very good beef with truffles and goose liver, which was very well balanced.
Good job, good team, very good atmosphere!

Visited this restaurant on my lay night in Porec. The previous night we had visited the restaurant Nikola and it's safe to say that these two restaurants are the best on the Main Street.
The service on arrival was the best we've had on our holiday but it fell away as the meal went on a bit. We were drinking wine by the glass and we only managed the one drink during the meal despite empty glasses on the table. It would have been nice to have been offered more to drink.
Anyway the food here is excellent. I had the octopus arm in wine sauce and it was very tasty.
The food was all very rich and I came away completely satisfied.

My wife and I ate lunch hear inside the small but tastefully designed restaurant on an early November Saturday. We were pleasantly surprised.
First, the lady who served us was multi-lingual, very kind, and very efficient. We ordered quickly, and received our drinks and olive bread -- which was delicious -- with minimal delay. For our meals, I ordered spaghetti with clams, which was chock full of the bivalves, albeit not as hot (temperature wise) as I would have liked. My wife ordered gnocchi with truffles. The gnocchi were more the size of pierogi (varenyky), but tasty.
Other customers seemed pleased with both the food and the service. The music playing in the background was mainly traditional rock, but thankfully not too amplified.

We have been at this place for a very nice dinner. Even though we're not convinced vegetarians we really enjoyed the great food, hummus with naan, penne arrabiata and truffle pasta were just great.
The staff was very friendly.
The place is not directly in the center so you sit outside without a lot of people passing by your table.
Highly recommended
