Peguera (translation from Catalan: "oven tar"; and the spelling on official road signs) is a tourist town in the municipality of Calvià on the island of Majorca (Mallorca in Spanish and Catalan), part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It has three large beaches and hundreds of hotels, hostels and apartments. The population is approximately 3,988 inhabitants. The town's name refers to the oven tar produced in this area from the pitch of pine tree resin.

Warm, with Terrace, ideal for couples or families wishing to enjoy a special dinner or lunch.
Had the mussels Ina tomato sauce - good but had some broken shells - - however a good tasting starter - followed by meat paella which was really good - house red wine grew on me - definitely a 2nd glass vino - from the 2nd it was lovely!

This German family run restaurant must be one of the best in Peguera. Staff very friendly and speak and understand English very well. I had the pumpkin soup which was fabulous and then I had the stroganoff with German short noodles. On my second visit I had potato and mushroom soup and the red Thai curry which was to die for. The best ever Thai curry I have had. Chef comes round asking guests if they enjoyed their food which tells me how confident he is in his food. Would recommend this restaurant.

This place serves authentic tapas just off the main boulevard near the main beach. The tapas portions were reasonable but we still found €5-6 quite expensive. The food was really good and fresh. Least value for money were the garlic prawns for €9.90 - too much for 7 smallish prawns and nothing with them. Overall a good experience but we felt it was a little bit too expensive to leave us fully satisfied.

La Romana is just down the hill from Hotel Maritim Galatzo where we stayed for a week. Having read reviews we decided to eat here for a change of scene. We weren't disappointed. The food was freshly cooked, delicious and reasonably priced. The owners made us feel very welcome. We sat in the courtyard garden and were entertained by the resident Canary bird as it burst into song. We would definitely eat here again if we revisit the area.

Wonderful romantic garden Seating for the warmer evenings, cozy Seating available inside. Limited quality menu and the kitchen happy to accomadate any alterations to suit. Enjoyed the food very much, much better than most offered in the resort. Fresh cooked and tasty, more vegetarian options would be good. Visted three times during our stay in Paguera.

The perfect place to have your last meal in Mallorca!
The team were great without being overbearing.
The food was of excellent quality without being overpriced.
The view was just right (ok, icing on the cake was a lovely table right on the front terrace).
Can't wait to return!

In our restaurant, we serve each day a different type of cuisine, from a barbecue grill, to fresh fish passing by tapas night or paella night or lobster night. We have a fantastic Terrace with Fountain to eat outside or a tipical spanish restaurant hall.<br>Visit our website for more information!
The food is absolutely amazing. Whether fresh fish, Paella, BBQ,....LOBSTER, you cannot go wrong. Excellent options for kids and adults, accompanied by great service and an amazing environment and ambiance. The Terrace at night is especially breathtaking. The owners are often seen mingling amongst the guest ensuring that they are satisfied with every aspect of their experience. Give it a try....I guarantee that you will not regret it!
