Obzor (Bulgarian: Обзор; Thracian: Naulochos, Ancient Greek: Naulochos, Latin: Naulochus, Tetranaulochus, or Templum Iovis) is a small town and seaside resort on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. It is part of Nesebar municipality, Burgas Province.

We went to Tania on a recommendation from family and would like to repeat/pass on this recommendation now that we have been there ourselves.
Classic Obzor menu, but that was fine as it was all well prepared and they managed to bring out all dishes for all in the party at almost same time. Almost. But really - close enough.
Our waither (Michael) perhaps lacked a bit in English, but had interest, kindness, smile and service enough for it to work out. And we did a little magic show and found our national flag for us. A fun little touch - the kids loved it.
Yes, all in all - for a very good (low) price we got a local and fine place. And had more than enough to eat.
And yes - in reference to previusreview here on TA: the pizza was very good!

we had pizza and a chicken sizzling dish, both were very good, the service was the best we had in Obzor and they gave us our change instead of assuming we were leaving it as a tip (a habit most other restaurant and bars have adopted)

We visited this bar because it looked cool and we'd seen it mentioned in reviews of our hotel nearby. The cocktail menu is extensive and the atmosphere is cool. However the drinks were actually a bit underwhelming (we didn't seem to get any of the trimmings I've seen in photos on here). The service was really slow and not particularly friendly. We didn't go back.

Another visit to Beautiful Sunny Obzor and had 3 fantastic meals at Salt & Pepper, each time the food was superb and the staff were excellent giving 100% attention to detail at all times speaking very good English. I would recommend this place to anyone and don't be afraid to try the Traditional Bulgarian Dishes they are very very nice and the Pepper Steak is to die for. 5 Stars for me

Hanove restaurant is inspired by the rich tables of old Bulgarian rulers, Khan Asparuh Khan Krum and other great proto founders of the Bulgarian state 1300 years ago. Soldiers and hunters, they piled their tables with game meat strung on a large swords and baked in the embers. We decided to recall a way of eating and offer our guests a wide selection of delicious fresh meats and barbecue. In addition, we offer a contemporary menu of salads, appetizers and specialties from local and international cuisine.
Visited last year and were really impressed so returned for a meal on this vacation.
Unfortunately, after ordering and having drinks served, the waiter informed my wife that mussels, which she had ordered, were not available. She then chose pork ribs which when they came turned out to be pork belly! The food was very good and tasty in spite of not being as described. We would certainly return.

This was the 4th restaurant checked out in Obzor in 5 days, and it was better. It's not that it qualifies for Michelin stars, or that it gives some stunning sea views, but the food is fine at a decent price.
Plus side:
- it can be easily located, on Google maps and with the several signs on the street (in English); it's a few minutes walk from the main street.
- it has a wide menu to choose from (not Japanese as presented here - in fact, the only thing i could link to Japan is a cocktail), but local & Italian (pizza) & French etc.
- the menu is also in English and (I assume) in Russian
- the staff is friendly and speaks basic English
- the food comes in large portions and it's fine
- the price is very decent; for a table of 4 adults and 3 kids, we paid 75 leva including tips (and we took also a doggy bag)
- there is a nice music in the background (from the 60s until 90s, including Frank Sinatra and Elvis), not too loud and not too low.
- one can smoke, at least on the tables from the Terrace
Minus side:
- if you get there at 7:30 or later, you may not get a table. We were there one day before, at 7:30, and all tables were taken, so we left (we weren't given any indication on how long we would need to wait). So we came back earlier, at 7:00, and we could see the other tables filling in by 7:20.
I attach a picture of the "Barba" salat.

we are in Obzor and working for you since 1991.family restaurant Thracian stan is located 100 meters from the beach and 100 meters from the center of city obzor.our restaurant made national Bulgarian style, the interior is complemented by various antique objects.perfectly resting place of all family.varied menu of Bulgarian, russian and European cuisine will not leave anyone indiff.
Lovely place, decorated in traditional Bulgarian style. I was there twice - at lunch and dinner time. The soups are delicious. The salads are fresh. The only thing I didn't like is that there was no variety of local fresh fish but this could be explained by the weather conditions.

The restaurant offers an exceptional variety of tasty cuisine. The menu is translated into several languages and all meals and drinks have a picture to get a visual idea. Besides breakfast, the restaurant offers a special lunch menu at attractive prices, and from 19.00 to 23 there is varied dj program which care for your good mood. The staff is friendly and guarantee you comfort and fast service. The Terrace of the restaurant allows you to enjoy the incredible combination of the Black Sea and located in the forest part of Stara Planina.
This was my third time here within 5 years. Now we just came back again because it was a perfect place. Now the drinks were good and the waiter very helpful but that's all. No seafood available, just fish. I asked scrimps without dill because of allergy and it was not possible to prepare. The rakia is good and they offer us a good wine. So all in all I have to find a new best place in Obzor.

Very nice place with fast serving, great kitchen and fair prices. Everything was good, and we visited it three evenings in a row already.

As one of the only restaurants situated on the seafront with an amazing view Captain Fish was an obvious choice for our visit. However, despite being the only customers the service was pretty slow. We ordered some Italian red wine which was absolutely awful, I could not drink more than half a glass although my friend persevered but felt awful later that evening. The food is not cheap here compared to a lot of other Obzor restaurants but we wanted to try some local fish so went ahead. I ordered some local fish fillet with chips and my friend had local tuna fillet. I actually ended up with deep fried fish and salad and even when I questioned it they said they didn't understand what the problem was. I felt they were very unhelpful and not willing to do anything about the fact they bought me the wrong meal. Which was full of bones too! When it came to get the bill they had actually charged me for my original more expensive fish and I complained and they changed it on the bill (after a very long wait). Overall I was left hungry and frustrated after paying a fair amount. I would suggest they need to seriously consider their staff and their food! Do not visit! Plenty of nicer places with friendly staff in the main square for a better price!
