We've decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Beef Boys and was curious about what to expect after Reading the last few reviews. But, were we surprised! Not only were the steaks probably the best that we've ever tasted at a restaurant, but the pina colada was excellently mixed. The atmosphere was calm and the restaurant were not that busy (the students were back in their home towns after the academical year). Really an evening to remember.

Relax and enjoy a cocktail pool side at the Palace of the Lost City. Light menus incuding wood oven pizzas and salads available all day.
This place in keeping with Sun City is an extravagance in the South African plains with the Pilanes burg Game Reserve just the other side of the valley. The drinks had a good cooling effect beside the pool.

The decor of the Tusk Bar Lounge at The Palace of the Lost City has a colonial feel, dominated by a trio of 5.6 metre arches, each consisting of 2 huge elephant tusks. This classy cocktail bar is open from 07h00 to 00h00 and boasts an extensive list of cocktails which guests can enjoy while the house pianist serenades them. Guests can also enjoy light snacks from 12h30 until 21h00.
Always an absolute joy to have a casual dinner at the Tusk Bar!
It was a beautiful evening and we decided to sit on the patio, where they have gas fires, see
photo, very romantic!
We had our favourite, chicken strips and chips.
My husband said this was the best chicken strips he's ever had!
Its just always enjoyable there!

The Raj is a halaal restaurant in the Sun City Hotel, offering an array of all flavours, spices and aromas of the finest traditional Indian cuisine. The Raj is open daily for lunch from 11h00 to 15h00 and dinner from 18h00 to 22h00.
I ordered food from the food court stand and considering it is « fast food » there I was not expecting anything great.
But I was very pleasantly surprised: the chicken biriany, lamb roganjosh and yellow dal were great!
The service was fast and friendly (after I broke the ice with a few friendly jokes). Great value for money!

Dine under the crystal chandelier in the Palace of the Lost City's flagship restaurant. Breakfast, Traditional Afternoon Tea and Dinner served daily. Friday and Saturdays family buffet served from the Terrace lakes.
The breakfast comes with the room. Like many other features at the hotel, this is very mixed. The meat carving is left to guests - unsanitary and unsafe. The choices include egg station, pancake station, fruit, fried rice and baked goods. The setting overlooks the pool and surrounding hills. Service is slow and uneven.

We didn’t book a table, not knowing this is pretty much needed over Sunday lunchtime. We were accommodated and a blanket was offered for our baby to sleep on. Craft beers and good wine list. No salads or light meals unfortunately. All gourmet food but Food needs to be balanced a bit more, the stuffed rolled chicken, and the salmon was a bit disappointing-stir fry only tasted of basting sauce and the salmon was a bit too fishy. Will be back though, best food we’ve had in hartebeespoort!!

An AWARD-WINNING, Family-Owned Restaurant. Superb Service and Mouthwatering Food.We are situated in a renovated home surrounded by LUSH Gardens with loads of shade for Seating or you may want to be seated on the "STOEP" or INSIDE under air-conditioners or next to a fire-place in winter.
Service was slightly slow, but this was counteracted by the fact that the restaurant was full and they had accommodated several additional people at our table at the last minute, so we were grateful!! Our waiter handled a very big table excellently! The food was excellent and good value!

This is a great restaurant if you are looking for authentic German beer and food. The views over the Olifantsnek dam make for pleasant surroundings and the restaurant is well set out. We visit regularly and have recently discovered the beer battered hake dish which is simply delicious (not very German I don’t think). Waiters a little lacking but, with a little patience, workable.

It was quite surprising to see a restaurant with only a few customers on a Saturday evening. The Tapas( Chicken Livers, Calamari, and Mussel pot) was good- rich(butter and cream) and fulling. One would need to appreciate the uniqueness of each cuisine and not make comparisons. The Tapas was not badly priced what so ever.
