Restaurant Houdini, which is part of the hotel, offers its hospitality to visitors in search of culinary values. This restaurant's menu, marked by the style of the young and creative chef, Michal Škrabák, reflects the influence of European cuisines. Houdini gradually focuses on Slovak and Central European meals and original recipes made from ingredients of the season. Meals are prepared not only with the passion of a man passionate about his profession, with respect for the gifts of nature, but also through the use of modern food processing technology (sous vide), which brings new surprising tastes and flavors and enables their preservation and underlines their taste and nutritional qualities Free parking in garage of hotel Marrol's for restaurants guests.
This is a hotel restaurant. Nicely decorated small restaurant, quite simple and with taste. The staff is super fiendly and atentive. The beef sup is amazingly great tasted with beef meat and carots. The mushroom soup is ok, not so great but ok.
Also something to try is their mushroom risotto. Its creamy and rich. Great taste and plenty of mushrooms in it.
They were super helpfull with recomending wines based on our taste description. We felt welcome there and enjoyed our dinner.

We had a wonderful lunch here on our way back down from Bratislava Castle. It was our anniversary so we wanted something quite special and we definitely got that here (without the staff even knowing it was our anniversary).
The restaurant is very intimate and cosy. Even at lunchtime, all the tables were lit by candlelight.
The food was absolutely delicious and wonderfully presented. I had the lamb shank for main which was beautifully tender and melted in my mouth. The choice of wine on offer was also impressive and our bottle was delicious.
Our bill came to around €100 for a bottle of wine, a shared starter and 2 main courses and it was worth very penny.
To top our wonderful culinary experience off, the service was perfect. We were offered a complimentary Slovakian liqueur after our food was a nice touch.
The restaurant also has a resident parrot which likes to wolf whistle every now and again. Quite unusual but it added to the charm!

IG : gatto_matto_familly #gattomattofamilly

The building that this restaurant is located is a national cultural monument. Situated in a quiet residential district, it is located in the vicinity of the Bratislava Castle. For lunch I had their duck leg with red cabbage and potato pancake for 12 euros. The tasty meat was succulent and tender. Wait staff was efficient and attentive. This attractive location had easy accessibility to the historic city center in addition to being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

God knows we love a coffee shop! And we are very picky when it comes to this. We love good coffee and good cakes and definitely a quirky cool vibe. Well this had it all. Stumbled upon it by mistake, we sat in for a couple of hours just drinking lovely coffee and tea. It is decorated beautifully, seats are very comfy and they have awesome magazines to wiz through.
Awesome place to sit all day. #SOHNICE

I had a good ham and eggs, and freshly squeezed pineapple juice which was delicious, they also prepared an iced tea for my wife with very little sugar, which pleased her. They speak good English and German, and were keen to please with a nice manner. Tables very wobbly so easy to spill drinks (I discovered!)

Restaurant with local modern cuisine, fresh products strongly working with slovak and international wines selection is more than 550 different wines.
Very poor level of service , after 2 very important bottles ordered ( Sassicaia and ornelaia ) we were waiting the starters , 4 pumpkins plate ordered all of them arrived in different shape and in the plate all of them were completely different plates , 2 foie gras as a starter arrive not cooked , we ask the chafe to come and he refuse saying that this is they he cook and anyhow we should pay our plates ! Never happen before to receive such service, we were thinking this place is different and unfortunately this was the confirmation of poor level of service available .
Very disappoint , never back again and sure not to recommend

Called here during the week for lunch. Excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was of the highest standard. I can thoroughly recommend the stuffed potato cakes as a starter. The location is within the grounds of the castle. Treat yourself and visit this place, you will not regret it.

Tasty and light meal for lunch after freezing walk up the castle. Cozy atmosphere and cool music. No need to make reservation.
