We made an afternoon trip by train from Rome to Nettuno only to visit this restaurant. It was well worth the trip! Very pleasant ambiance, warmly furnished with family photos (the family has owned the restaurant since 1896), friendly staff, excellent meal. I don't know exactly what we had, since we asked the owner to just bring us whatever he thought we would like, but I know there was an amazing polenta antipasto, a divine dish with octopus. Everything was perfectly prepared and delectable. The best meal I had in Italy!

We went here for a suggestion of my friend.
We reached the restaurant after a visit at walk in the down town.
We were the first and we were suspicious but after 10 minutes the local was full.
The waiter suggested us the home starter of the house, very good!
After we toke as first a magnificent plate of ravioli with spigola.
For finish we toke fish fried, mmmmm!!!
We suggest absolutely

I screened many restaurants in Nettuno on Tripadvisor and several had many negative comments especially about over- priced and tasteless food. I chose this restaurant as it had only one negative remark and I knew I could check if it was true by opening the door to the restaurant as it said that it smelled fried fish inside. I can confirm that it does not smell fried fish. I came here two evenings at a row as I was happy after my first meal and didn’t find any other alternatives in Nettuno on Tripadvisor.
It is a family run restaurant and service is friendly and casual.
It is a fish restaurant and I wanted to eat fish. I therefore cannot recall if they had any meat.
The antipasti consist of a tasting (“degustazione”) of ten small plates of different fish antipasti. My favorites were: marinated seabass with coriander grains, calamari and corn, tuna tartare (but would be better without pecorino). Personally, I was less fond of the antipasti with warm salmon. After the antipasti I one night had fritura of fish and the other night sea food pasta.
They took over the management of the restaurant early July and had some things on their to-do list to complete when I came there in the middle of August. They then collected feedback from guests on the menu. They also needed to create a homepage, which has now been done.
They had to make a wine list. The wine selection was the only negative point when I visited. Since the antipasti are full of strong tastes I would go for aromatic white wines of a certain quality e.g. Vermentino from Liguria or Sardinia, or Vernaccia. In a restaurant in Olbia with similar cuisine they have e.g. Karmis from Vini Contini (Vernaccia&Vermentino). Other options would be Italian white wines e.g. from Sicily from grapes such as Inzolia, Cataratto, Viognier and Grillo. I suggested to the owner to have some short written information in the wine list with names of the grapes as well as a short tasting note. It would be good to have some half bottles. From the reviews since my visit it is difficult to say if the wine list done and if the selection improved.

Went with a group of about 12 for work. Had a really amazing dinner. We had about 6-8 different starters to share including 2 different octopus, shrimp, sea bass, sardines, cod fish. We then had 2 pasta dishes one was fettuccine with artichoke and calamari and the other was a spicy tomato sauce with monkfish.
The service was great. Food kept coming up especially while having starters. Empty plates were taken hot food brought out. Wine glasses were also kept full.
It atmosphere was bright and had references to fish and music on the walls.
Then off course plenty of limoncello to finish the meal.
Not sure what ordering off the normal menu would be like but this was great for a large group. We had 2 locals with us that had prearranged the menu for the evening.
The restaurant even accommodated 2 people on our group, 1 that had a serious shrimp allergy and other did not eat fish.

Small store in the middle of the old town. Great for a cheap after beach bite. What was remarkable about this little pizza place was that they have several pizzas on offer with some sort of truffle sauce topping (instead of the normal olive oil). Making this place quite a bit different from normal places. Really cool is that they are constantly baking new flavours so depending on when you visit you have a different variety of option!

I found this place by chance while strolling at lunchtime in Nettuno. The piadina is VERY good, we had the one with salmon, Philadelphia and rocket salad and the one with sausage, cicoria and mozzarella. Very good quality for the price we paid (24 euros, including 2 beers and 2 French fries).

Trattoria "Da Francesco e Teresa": the quality of over 40 years of experience. Daily arrivals of local fish, seafruits and much more.
Walking down Via Santa Maria, from the Borgo to the American Cemetery, i could not ignore the gaudy signs of the many eateries that put out their siren calls. Then, i detected the most seductive fragrances, but there was only a milk-glass door that gave no indication of what was behind it.
A clean room emerged with white walls and the most tantalyzing fish fragrance that had strong notes of tomato, garlic and herbs, i have ever sniffed. In fact, the dominant note in Nettuno, whilst passing kitchen windows, was of tomato.
We started with spag alle vongole, after watching with reverence the exemplary preparation, with every clam, tender and sweet, the whole cloves of garlic lending perfume rather than odour, the oil base delicate and the spags, al-dente, of-course. A suggestion to follow with a grilled ovata and a salad of greens as a secondo was as perfectly grilled as i have ever tasted. A bottle of Cacchione di Nettuno went down well, at first taste harsh and rustic, but perfectly married to the food.

If you want a true pizza experience, definitely try out this place!
The founders of this restaurant really know what they are doing! Their pizzas are just superb. Wafer thin and crispy, you just wished you could eat more!
Do not hesitate to follow their day's suggestions and start off with a taste of their homemade beers.
You'll love it and definitely will not go broke!

Really charming Restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. Beeing on a Terrace is a plus as well as the roman food and some specialities which we really enjoyed.
Highly recommended the carbonara's pasta and the Parmigiana in carrozza.
Overall a place for everybody, great quality and good price.
