This brasserie was for several years in the top 20 of all coffee bars in the Netherlands.
And so they serve you with the old fashion smile high quality coffee for a more then reasonable price. They have an indoor Terrace, always nice in the Dutch climate!
They serve also a very attractive lunch made from fresh high quality products.
I would say it's worth visiting!

We stopped here for apple cake and coffee before catching the ferry back to Harwich. The service was excellent along with the apple cake (served with cream of course) and a delicious cappacino. The town of Naaldwijk was beautiful with a lovely church at each end and a varied assortment of shops where we were able to walk off some of the calories off.
The menu looked fantastic and at 11am we were amazed at how many customers the Brasserie had. The waitress spoke excellent English as did the rest of the staff. The toilets and the whole premises were spotless. Next time we are in the area we will definately call and sample something else off the extensive menu. Thank you

Dinner, Herr Kapitän? Poised on a headland overlooking the ferry port of Hoek van Holland, this building was commandeered as an Officers Mess by the German Kriegsmarine during the occupation of the Netherlands during WWII.
It still retains a few features of that time, but in the years since has been transformed into an excellent restaurant, ideally positioned to be your first or last landfall en route to, or from Harwich.
Our visit was at the end of a long day for a group of army veterans and their spouses (ten in total), some of whom had to board the ferry by 21:15.
We arrived at 17:30 and were glad to flop into the deep-buttoned Chesterfields clustered around the fireplace in the central bar area. The décor is distinctly nautical without being too ‘Popeye tacky’ – a pleasant balance between relaxed and elegant.
Mindful of some of our company’s sailing orders, our waiter let us through to an oval table for ten. The menu is mostly a collection of classics, turned to the creative hand of the chef. You can order full a la carte, or the table de hôte which gives you three courses at very good value. Two of our crew raved about the veal ribeye, while the Chaplain remarked on the generous portions. My garlic tournedo was superb.
The service was efficient while never overbearing. Our delightful waiter proved unflappable under pressure – a quality highly appreciated by ex-military types.
When the bill arrived, everyone was pleasantly surprised. This establishment just ticks all the boxes!
As the ferry-farers made for the ship (5 mins drive), the rest of us lingered a little longer. And we will again.
Bravo Zulu Het Jagershuis!

I was here with my Valentine and we both choose the special menu. It was fantastic, Value for money.
The wine arrangement fitted very well with the food and the wine waiter (sommelier) informed us about the various backgrounds of the wine.
The admosphere in the former vicarage is relaxed and a but formal. The restaurant lies at the central square of Naaldwijk. Parking is easy at the supermarket parkinglot a easy five minutes walk from 'by 5'.
If you are a real good food lover I do recommend this place very firmly.

First visit and I was very surprised with the quality of the food! My starter Salmon was too much haha and very tasty. The spare ribs afterwards were the best I had in a long time, jummy!

A great place to be, coming off the ferry and staying for a night.
Room is spacious and includes Tea/Coffee making facility, comfortable bed, modern bathroom to include generous size walk-in shower.
Evening meal at the restaurant....: A small menu but should accommodate most people including vegetarian. My choice was a chicken sate with side salad and chips....simply delicious. Breakfast was basic but fresh and plentiful to include coffee or various flavours tea, fresh bread etc and fruity to take away.
Service has been excellent, staff attentive and happy to help.

Tasty food with an american bite! Hudson offers a great dining atmosphere, with an urban & comfy feeling. American food classics rule the menu such as BBQ ribs with Coca Cola glaze, smashing smokey salmon, beef wrap and a large selections of delicious burgers. Your first visit? You should really try the famous Hudson Burger! Taste this one and you know why this place is stuffed with people most of the time. The vegetarian options offer a selection of fantastic meat substi-tutes, from the Vegetarian Butcher. The Hudson bar is a great place to start the evening with cocktails and bar snacks to share with friends.
We had a chicken burger and the salmon, both were very good, we also tried the local stuffed balls, for want of a better description, they came with great mustard. Ok , if your up for trying something different, but for me a one time only experience.
One big downer it took 40 minutes to come. We would go back

We had been to the Asían brother of Just-in. Both restaurants share the kitchen and are communicated in the inside. Verynice decoración BUT the food is the important part. We choose the surprise menú, and you start with the first one.... we could take some salmon sashimi, some raw tuve but cooked on the outside, some advocado rolls and some makis. All delicious. Then we order the second round, more sashimi, more sushi, some tempura.........and if you don´t get full with the second round, you can go for the third and the fourth. I have to say that quality was top and relación quality/quantity and price was good. If you can get into the 4th course ... it will cost you 31,50 euros per drink. The village is not somewhere you will go for tourism but if you are close by, it is worth it to stop in.
