Arrived for breakfast with my local family as they wanted me to experience an authentic meal. I had the Paisa Res which had eggs, local cheese, Arepa of white corn, meat and calentao (rice with beans). Everything tasted wonderful. Beautifully presented. I didn't like the cheese, but I'm not a cheese lover; Colombian food is filled different ways to present cheese. Pastries, bread, crackers etc. If you want good food that is authentic paisa, come to Simon Parrilla. Sorry no pictures.

The food was great and a great representative of regional cuisine for the Caribbean Sabana, the atmosphere could take better advantage of the traditional building. The place is an institution recommended by Monterianos and has a local feeling. Bring cash, as cards are not used in the restaurant.

My friend and I had a hankering for some tasty international food today. We were not disappointed! The falafel was fantastic, as was the humus and our drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be going back. There was also air conditioning, so that we would stay cool and comfortable as we ate.
Another note, my friend is vegetarian and she finds it very difficult to find meal options in Monteria. Baalbeck has some great vegetarian dishes!

For an event we were very well taken care. Variety of local meat done to our taste. Plantain chips with "suero costeño" to start the night were great.

Si quiere disfrutar de la mejor pasteleria de Monteria y creo alrededores debe visitar esta pasteleria en donde podra disfrutar de una espectacular torta de manzana y nueces o de un pie de almendra, o siquiere un wafle con helado tambien!!!! Existe la opcioon de ensaladas o pizza y cualquie opcion que escoja lo dejara feliz!!!!

Food is always good and fresh with very good service, even when it gets crowded. Okay portions, decent choice of beer and wine,. Air conditioner makes it very comfortable. Relatively quick service also and not very expensive. Nice coffee and desert also.

I went to Mis Carnes Parrilla in Cota. The restaurant is clean, the food did not have anything special or different that make me back there. I tryed the chinchullines (very artificial flavour) and beef.

We actually had a wonderful meal here worth writing about. The steaks were fine and tender unlike a lot of places that over cook. Everything was delicious starting from the plantain chips and two sauces. The drinks were natural juices Coruso or something like that. The meal was very filling and perfect. The second time we went was yesterday for our 4th trip to Monteria. This time the wait staff was simply lackadaisical. First time was a dream. But, not all wait staff is that great anywhere anyway. The first time the waiter actually hailed us a cab. The second time we were on our own.
