Monaco City (French: Monaco-Ville) is the southcentral Ward in the Principality of Monaco. Located on a headland that extends into the Mediterranean Sea, Monaco City is nicknamed The Rock (French: Le Rocher). The name "Monaco City" (French: Monaco-Ville) is misleading, Monaco City is a historical and statistical district, not a city.

Since its opening, within the Hotel de Paris authenticity and culinary elegance have always been delicately combined at restaurant Le Louis XV.The menu, a Mediterranean and seasonal symphony of a style that Alain Ducasse qualifies in one word as « essential », suggests a wide pallet of exquisite dishes. The wine cellar, filled with 400 000 bottles, is a wine aficionados' dream.Indulge in this elegant room set in light and gold or on the Terrace for lunch or dinner.
We dined there for a very special occasion and staff was very supportive while still respecting our privacy. We went for a menu and enjoyed every dish. As I am not a fan of shellfish, these dishes were replaced with another exquisite dish. Loved the service, the taste of the food, the presentation, in short all. When I need to mention something which could be improved upon I only can come up with not having seen the chef after dinner (I am used to that in the top-rated restaurants but maybe I thus far was spoiled :-)

Starters were good. Mains average. Desserts basic. Overall nothing special to eat but priced high! Also, waitress seemed to forget us!

Same restaurant, same menu, same view ... but... when the Maitre D Romano is in the house, you experience the full beefbar journey. The italian extravant skilled expert, will guide you to enjoy your meal to perfection, without pushing you to the most expensive courses.
What a man, serving unbelieable meat!

I had a drink in the covered bar with a great view over the port. The bar is very cosy but they only serve drinks and snacks. Afterwards I had dinner on the Terrace of the restaurant. Unfortunately the port view was blocked by the bar.........but the food was good and the waiter was very friendly and efficient. I had a good time here and would return. Prices were very reasonable for Monaco.

Joël Robuchon restaurant offers a sophisticated, accessible cuisine with Mediterranean flavors, executed by Head Chef Christophe Cussac, who promotes fresh seasonal products. The open kitchen, a distinctive trademark of Joel Robuchon's philosophy: to share his passion and pleasure of food with his guests who can enjoy a direct contact with the Chef while he's cooking.
We’ve been privileged to have dinner at Joel Robuchon just before Christmas. Despite being regulars in Monte Carlo in general and Hotel Metropole in particular, it was our first dining experience at the restaurant. We’ve both had vegetarian menu, which was delightful and served to perfection. However, the truly special part comes from the human talent at this restaurant. The level of professionalism and attention to details was unmatched. To anyone who appreciates not just food, but the highest levels of hospitality, remarkable talents and passion for excellence, please do not miss this restaurant. Savour every mouthful and, above all, speak to the people who serve you. They have worked with some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry, and their stories are inspirational. Treat this place and its talents with utter respect, and you’ll have an experience to cherish for ever. Thank you to everyone at Joel Robuchon for making us feel so special. We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Movie themed French Italian Restaurant !!
We made the mistake of choosing this place after Reading good reviews. When we arrived the waiter was unfriendly and rude. Menu is limited and food pricing is very high for the level of quality. Not recommended - there are much better places to eat in Monte Carlo.

We enjoyed our dinner last night at the Blue Bay! It was a great fine dining experience - from the time we arrived we were treated so well. The food was excellent and our server Miguel Silva was extremely insightful and friendly. Highly recommend!

In Monte Carlo it is typically quite difficult to find very decent Italian food. If you add the value for money to the equation things really get tight. Avenue 31 is a rare example of really good Italian food in combination with outstandingly decent pricing. No wonder this place is always packed for lunch and in the evening Reservations are highly recommended. Go there You won’t regret it

Situated in the old town, this small restaurant offers a typical local dishes and a very warm welcome. The Terrace with lounge-style sofas is located behind the Cathedral . The service is all day long in summer.
After a long day in a hot and humid Monte Carlo, we just wanted a plce to rest and have a decent dinner. We got much more than we expected! The place is in a very quite but nice location, behind the Cathedral. The food...MoreHello, we are touched by so many compliments! Thank you again and I look forward to see you again in Monaco. Best regards Jérôme.
